LOVE ETERNAL

You die alot in this game, you kinda play like an AI model solving a puzzle through chance, because the margins for error are very small. At the same time the game makes you go through the same dialog everytime you die in a chase scene, that's not fun game design, man.

Not the greatest platformer of all time but overall the experience is just fantastic. There is a section towards the end that is surreal in a way only a video game could be. Ground breaking stuff!

The platforming is responsive and a lot more challenging than I thought it would be from the demo. I do think the spike hitboxes felt slightly too big and dying by touching the side of them got a little annoying, but it was enjoyable enough that it didn't bother me that much. There was a lot of interesting stuff with both the gameplay and the narrative, but I don't want to spoil it. The art is also great.

I was lured in by the tight and elegant platforming only to find maybe the most compelling psychological horror experience I’ve had in my life. This game is decadently executed, made all the more unnerving by the understanding that it is capable of anything.
