Lozenge

Have you spent hours playing Tangram games?

Then it's time to try this new gameplay with an awesome twist.

The objective here is to fill the board using the given random shapes. You score with every shape you put there, but if you create either a row, a diagonal or the special pattern in the middle of the board (triangles in different colors) the score goes even higher. If you happen to run out of space, just reset the board and try again.

This is quite a fun little game, and I've enjoyed playing it whilst listening to podcasts and music. However, after reaching about ~5000 points, the game starts slowly grinding down to a halt, and becomes very unresponsive and borderline unplayable after 15000 points. There is also no way to save a game, and upon rebooting the game, it is reset. This poor design unfortunately turns a simple, fun puzzle game slowly into a lethargic, frustrating experience, every time. Quite a shame really. Caveat emptor.

A really fun and great puzzle game. It can bit a bit glitchy/laggy at times and there is no mute button for sound, but you get to relax and figure out the moves in peace as there is no time limit.

This is really very poor; a simple idea with potential, but executed exceptionally badly. My first (and, ultimately, most minor) annoyance was that not all of the pieces cycle through their different orientations in rotational sequence. For example, some of them might turn to 60°, then 120°, then flap over for no reason to 240°, then back to 180°, then to 300°... Obviously, this isn't a deal-breaker, but it certainly is indicative of the level of care and attention put into the game, and into making your interactions feel at all satisfying. The next annoyance was the soundtrack - which would be inoffensive enough, were it not on such a short loop. It quickly becomes maddening, and I'd be amazed if anyone would choose to play for longer than 30 minutes without muting the music and listening to their own choice of background audio instead. Thirdly, and Infinitely worse: some of the rotational orientations are simply not available. Based on the attention to detail displayed in other areas, this may well be because the developer just overlooked them. On the other hand, it may have been an intentional choice, with the aim of increasing the difficulty of the game. If so - what a stagg…

Lozenge is a puzzle game that embraces simplicity while delivering a surprisingly engaging mental challenge. Developed and published by XiNFiNiTY Games, the title takes inspiration from classic shape-fitting puzzles but introduces its own identity through a triangular playing field and a scoring system that rewards careful planning. Rather than relying on flashy visuals or complicated mechanics, the game focuses entirely on the satisfaction of placing geometric pieces efficiently and maximizing points through strategic decisions. The gameplay revolves around fitting randomly generated shapes onto a board composed of interconnected triangles. At first, the concept appears straightforward, but the triangular layout creates unique placement considerations that distinguish Lozenge from more traditional block-based puzzle games. Every move carries weight because poorly placed pieces can limit future opportunities, while thoughtful positioning can set up large score bonuses. This balance between immediate gains and long-term planning forms the heart of the experience and keeps players constantly evaluating their next move. A notable aspect of the game is its scoring structure. Players …

Relaxing puzzle game hampered by the (intentional or not) omission of certain rotations of a few pieces. Also, like another reviewer said, the game seems to stack assets even after pieces are cleared, and lags out to the point of unplayability around 15k points. Still, it's a nice little game to 100% in two sittings (if "Play 50 games" is your last achievement, just continually click the restart button until it pops ;P )

Interesting puzzle game that will show you the world in diamonds (Lozenge). He is friendly and makes time pass, the difficulty is relatively affordable :-)
