Cthulu is on the run after stealing the moon! Use the moon to influence the waves to avoid missiles and jagged rocks down below.
Enjoy two different gameplay modes as you make your way through the increasingly challenging levels that test your abilities.
The main campaign will follow the adventure of Cthulu who stole the moon due to his need for the power to control waves on his own planet in his own galaxy and finds himself on Earth while he attempts to escape from NASA and other enemies in his path.
The endless runner mode will allow players to control Cthulu as they challenge personal records for distance for themselves and others playing the game and this also facilitates harvesting coins for upgrades for use in the game.

Lunarsea is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam by developers who apparently don't know the difference between gaming PCs and iPhones. It's a basic "Flappy Bird" endless runner/tapper where you guide the boat over the waves by popping a "moon" out over the ocean, which pulls up the sea level that you're riding on... you can get the entire gist of the game in 30 seconds. This isn't fundamentally all that different from Flappy Bird, a little more timing is needed. The gameplay is incredibly shallow, which shouldn't be a surprise because it's an endless runner mobile app. This kind of mobile app trash doesn't really belong here. It's free, which means at least it isn't a cash grab like most mobile devs like to try scam PC gamers with, but it's terrible. All this really does is lower the average quality of PC games on Steam. I didn't spend thousands building a gaming rig so I could pretend it's an iPhone.2 found this helpful

This game is pretty addicting, but I can't help but feel like the difficulty is artificially inflated. You pretty much [i]need[/i] to buy upgrades to beat levels, which wouldn't normally be a problem, but the upgrades cost like 100x more than the coins you get per attempt during the later stages. On top of that, there's a shop where you can just buy the coins with real money, and you're able to spend up to $50. It just leaves a bad taste, as if this game is just a cash grab (it doesn't help that it looks like a mobile game). I really enjoyed the game at first too, it has a pretty unique concept (simple as it is), so it sucks to see that it's pretty much unbeatable unless you grind it for hours or drop some real world money into it. Hard pass, unless you don't care enough to beat it and just wanna kill 30 or so minutes on something1 found this helpful
