Pancake Sailor

[h1] Basically sailing sim. There's not much to it but you can sail around in free roam mode or start the race. I think game is missing on some more interesting environments in different climate zones, day/night cycle and such. Maybe adding some music to existing game or just more advanced stuff would be nice. So far I can recommend only for sailing enthusiasts or sim lovers. [/h1]

quite fun and relaxing for people who like to sail. the game looks quite good too.

С первого взгляда кажется, что это просто забавная инди-поделка, но под оберткой мультяшной графики и абсурдного сеттинга скрывается довольно глубокий и атмосферный опыт. Управление поначалу кажется неуклюжим, но к нему быстро привыкаешь, и начинаешь получать удовольствие от самого процесса "плавания" на блинчике. Юмор в игре довольно специфический, но если он вам зайдет, то будете смеяться чуть ли не над каждой мелочью. Сюжет, хоть и не блещет сложностью, держит в напряжении и заставляет задавать вопросы. Самое главное, что игра создает неповторимую атмосферу абсурда и легкой безуминки, которую сложно найти в других проектах. Из минусов можно отметить небольшую продолжительность и некоторые шероховатости в графике. Но в целом, "Pancake Sailor" - это отличный пример того, как инди-разработчики могут создать что-то оригинальное и запоминающееся, даже используя простые средства. Рекомендую всем любителям необычных и забавных игр!

"Pancake Sailor" is an unusual, non-free (content/features are heavily paywalled) casual sailing simulation where you sail a small sailboat around the Caribbean. There's not much to do unless you pay up. There's no optimisation, almost no gameplay of interest, no players for the multiplayer modes you have to pay for, and a few visual bugs and other problems with it, that you probably won't encounter because there's nothing to do here. What do you do in the game? Very, very little... at best this is a mildly interactive screensaver with annoying sounds. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. Quite shockingly badly implemented. Failed to run properly at all on a decent spec PC with a mid range graphics card. Just hangs after the landing screen.
