I played Lust Academy Season 2 mostly because I liked the story from Season 1. I haven’t played many magic academy adult visual novels before, but this one actually kept me interested. The academy setting, mystery, and overall worldbuilding were good enough to make me want to continue the story. My biggest problem with the game is probably the MC. Sometimes he acts bold and confident, but other times he suddenly becomes kind of a ♥♥♥♥♥ or acts like a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for no reason. It made it hard for me to connect with him because I felt like I didn’t really have control over his emotional state or personality. A lot of times I wouldn’t react the same way he did, so some scenes felt frustrating instead of immersive. The dialogue and English also felt kind of weird sometimes. Not terrible, but definitely noticeable during conversations. The animations and visuals are decent for a 2023 adult VN. Not mind-blowing, but still above average compared to a lot of games in the genre. Overall, I still enjoyed the game because the story and academy setting carried it hard for me, even if the MC and writing had issues.1 found this helpful
i love the story
Great follow up to the first season. The only downside is that to get 100% in achievements LGBTQ+ content has to be enabled and you need to make those choices, however it is not too big of a problem as saving before the choice, skip all to get the achievements and then loading the save again to keep playing is not too big of a hassle since the achievements are very close to each other - takes only a few minutes.
5/10
too much clicking, too little action
The animation/CGI is worse than the first one! Never Trust anything coming from Bear in the Night! They have no idea how to make a decent looking AVN! Stuff is worse than Wallace and Gromit! And that says a lot! Shame on the Dev for giving us this type of crap!
