About Luxuria Superbia
A simple game of touch, pleasure and joy.
Luxuria Superbia is a colorful, musical journey made to fill you with joy. Exciting designs explode from your touch as you glide through playful stylized flowers. It’s all about the experience and the interaction.
There’s twelve flower-like tunnels and a garden with a temple.
In the garden, you select a flower by turning the dial.
When you complete a flower the next one is unlocked.
A flower always starts out colorless.
But when you touch it, color fills the tunnel.
Stay in the glowing flower as long as possible!
Play slowly and gently to get a high score.
Just pushing through as fast as you can will result in failure.
The game wants you to take it easy and be playful.
The blush you cause to a flower imbues the garden too.
For each flower, there’s a column in the temple.
Time spent in a blooming flower makes its column grow.
The garden starts blank, just like the tunnels.
But over several journeys, it flourishes with color.
Bring color to the flowers, bring joy and beauty to the garden!

✦ AI summary
Players are divided on this sensory-focused experience. Supporters praise its striking visuals, relaxing atmosphere, and artistic approach to pleasure and intimacy, appreciating it as a meditative piece rather than traditional gameplay. Critics find it lacks substance and challenge, comparing it to a screensaver or interactive toy with shallow mechanics that doesn't engage beyond initial novelty, though some acknowledge its artistic merit while questioning whether that alone justifies the purchase.
One hour of pollinating the flowers was not enough to convince me this is a good game.
7 found this helpful
i wrote a review and then noticed the thumbs up was selected so i clicked the thumbs down and that of course wiped the entire review so you can thank steam for my blunt rejection of this "game". style over substance, the video game equivalent of the word moist. first level has you cruising towards the cervix but not too fast as taking it easy and doing as little as possible are the name of the game here. just a lame plate spinner that offers up no challenge beyond trying to understand it in the first place. most reviews on the game dont even delve into anything substantive. i attempted to until steam wiped the review I had written. unless i'm missing some major mechanic this software is entirely pointless, annoying to listen to, boring to look at and engage with. there are no achievements, there are no cards and every other title by this developer is possibly even less of a game than this one since this one actually has a point system and levels.2 found this helpful
Heads up this game is abit strange and needy, i mean start game (hi game!) no hi just instruction then constant requests of "Touch me!" uhhh?? I only just booted your exe ..wow there! even so it was kinda charming and chill and weird it was weird! but not restraining order weird, relaxing weird?? yeah sure why not! Music is all. but timing is important, at the peek of your performance a crescendo should be reached by all members (of the band of course tshh!), if treble and vocals are shredding and wailing then the bass and drums should keep the pocket while rhythm balances between remembering to maintain the suspense of the overall music by drawing out the ending, just when you think the melody is taking you there the drums kick back in then bass vibrations infuse your body... Well you get the idea this game wants to make beautiful music with you! The music is tranquil and ..uh.. iam gonna say wibbly!! The game it self is not lude or visually controversial, infact the visuals (u can see in the steam vid) is a journey through the different stems shapes plants, triggering with carfeull timing will release ...uh? strange things!!! eventually you will navigate serval colors until…
Okay, dropping a quick review for this one after seeing a bunch of hate commentary about it because this is such a sexy game. If the spicy text bothers you, you can pause the game and click the bubble that says 'show text' to turn it off. Then you can enjoy the trippy visuals and music with reduced discomfort. The flowers are lovely and colorful. The entire game is glorious eye candy. (Though I'd be lying if I said that any of this is why I've been playing it for hours.) It's a wonderful art piece that celebrates touch, stimulation and pleasure AND the joy of slowing down and taking your time to get the most out of the experience. Hell yeah.
It’s bright and colorful, but essentially an interactive screen saver or sound equalizer. Its about the experience than actual gameplay... a short “touch game”... whatever that means. The problem is it doesn’t really go anywhere. Solo play is fine, but it’s all very shallow. You can appreciate the design and how thought out it is, but there isn’t much to it. It’s fun for like a few minutes at a time, but it doesn’t stick. I had a bit of fun, but it’s not something I’d return to. If you’re curious, it’s worth a quick look if you get it on sale.
I was not filled with joy.
