About LYMBUS
Descend into a digital labyrinth of our own making

The year is 19XX. Great strides in neuromechanical research have allowed the most common human actions to be transcribed onto memory cards. Great oversights in said research have also made it so nobody remembered to save a backup. After a catastrophic crash renders most of the population comatose, you are tasked with diving into humanity's collective unconscious to retrieve the memories that may hold the key to ending the blackout.
Experience innovative real-time roguelike deckbuilder action

We combined your favorite genres into one grotesque piece of software! You're welcome, game journalists. Move around with your keyboard. Do everything else with your cards. In LYMBUS, exercise maximum strategy in building your deck, then throw that strategy out the window in screen-shaking, bullet hell-style battles. Combat happens in real time with no turns or slowdowns, meaning resources are tight and every moment matters.
More LYMBUS, more of the time

Revel in the endless content farm that is roguelike progression. Enjoy endless runs with randomized content and secret encounters across 3+ different biomes. Improve your chance of success in said runs by unlocking new booster packs and suits. Experience the thrill of financial liquidity with none of the microtransactions by buying things with our imaginary currency. The possibilities are endless!

*Incredibly boring *ugly looking (even though i like the aesthetic) *VERY plain in its core, despite all the bizzare looks *gameplay just does not feel any engaging or fun: looking down at your cards while moving your character around (and dodging) doesn't feel good and having to use MY MOUSE COURSOR to pick my own cards is such a... i dont have words for how stupid of a decision that is. I know you can pick your cards with Q and E, but it's only after you picked the first card with coursor AND it's super awkward to dodge around when you have to move your fingers from A and D (that you use to dodge) to press Q or R repeatedly untill you hold a card you actually want to use This should be a free to play game, that would introduce players to what your studio is capable of creating and where you'll be going in the artistic direction in the future, asking money for this is stealing7 found this helpful
one of the most unique and fun roguelikes I've ever played :35 found this helpful
game's a good one if a bit niche, responsive developers. If you're having trouble initially, my suggestion would be to keep it simple - there isn't much time and mental bandwidth for flashy combos if you're bad at the multitasking the game expects like me. Also consider rebinding card scroll from q and e to mousewheel, that worked wonders for me2 found this helpful
Takes a minute to get used to. A hidden gem in my opinion. I am very picky with my deckbuilding games. There needs to be something unique, if anything it is the art style and simplicity in cards paired with the aspect of having to deal with enemies while you select cards. There is more or less a learning curve, the more you play, you become familiar with the cards and enemies attacks, resulting in solid muscle memory with enough consistency. I hope more check this out. The deckbuilding is simple, but it can get very chaotic unless you are not used to it between selecting cards and dealing with enemies. Easy to pickup and hard to master. Love the look and there is more than enough here for a decent enough replay ability/loop. Make sure to check out the other games by the developer :D1 found this helpful
The game's idea and artwork are very good, but the Operability ruins it. There are a lot of cards and upgrades to choose from, but the explanations are few, and the Operability was enough to make me lose interest in the first boss, which was hard to do.1 found this helpful
once you're used to it's looks its actually pretty good1 found this helpful
