interesting idea combining random cards being drawn and action combat, but I feel like gameplay in megaman exe/one step from eden or some other designs might fit better with the idea(I haven't get my hands on these two games, so I'm saying that based on what it looks like). I gravitate towards two types of playstyle in this game. The first one is kiting while I take a look at cards at hand and then engage. The second is that I just press all the buttons repeatedly and put more focus on dodging. This happens a lot in boss levels when it's important to dodge boss attacks. The root cause, in my opinion, is the conflict of demanding attention between action and assessment of current options. As a result, simplification of some sorts might be necessary here. Also, it might be helpful to let players be able to get to know and use their kit at start(eg. player-built decks). Ul design is likely a key factor as well. Overall, cool idea here and execution is key.1 found this helpful

Very cool game concept, feels pretty good to play, but I got stuck inside a wall during what I assume is the final boss fight so that wasn't great
