Madness Chambers is rather unusual for GameMaker Studio shovelware/pollution in that it's already been published on Steam as "Burial Chambers", and then removed... in fact every game this developer published on Steam prior to 2023 has been removed... by Valve, or self terminated? Who knows. Anyway, this is Burial Chambers, a very lazy bit of GameMaker Studio low effort shovelware here on Steam as a cash grab. The game is a little unusual in terms of gameplay, but being unusual doesn't make it good. It's a hybrid 2D retro platformer/shooter, but instead of normal platforming, you fling yourself around in mobile-app, Angry Birds style slingshotting. So, yeah, two game formats that are obsolete and should have nothing to do with PC gaming, all rolled into one, published on Steam, kicked off Steam, then published on Steam again, and played by nobody, because it's garbage. What a roller coaster ride through the lands of mediocrity. Anyway here's why you shouldn't buy this game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The visuals in this game are a complete joke, it's seriously just a bunch of MS-Pain…10 found this helpful

Madness Chambers is a fast-paced indie action platformer developed and published by StarSystemStudios that embraces brutal combat, demanding platforming, and a distinctive hand-drawn visual style. Inspired by the chaotic energy of classic internet animation culture, the game places players inside a series of deadly chambers where survival depends on quick reflexes, accurate movement, and the ability to adapt to increasingly dangerous situations. Rather than focusing on a deep storyline, the game centers its appeal on pure gameplay, delivering a straightforward but intense experience that keeps the action moving from beginning to end. The game's visual presentation immediately stands out thanks to its minimalist black-and-white aesthetic accented by dramatic bursts of red. This artistic choice gives every encounter a violent and energetic feel while maintaining clear visibility during combat. The environments are simple but effective, allowing players to focus on the challenges ahead without unnecessary distractions. The hand-drawn style adds personality to the experience and helps Madness Chambers establish an identity that feels both familiar and unique within the indie action ge…
Terrible design especially on the last level, you'd think after trudging through everything it'd be a straight race to the finish nope, you have to do it all again, expect now you have no checkpoints
