This game is real Mahjong (not the matching one) that is crude, not beginner friendly, and feels overall clunky. To start, there are no rules explanations, and you kinda just get tossed in after you start a match. You really have to know how to play already beforehand, or else you won't get any help. Although there are anime girls, it doesn't redeem that the game is pretty crude. It is especially bad when you consider the fact that this game has a $15 price tag. I would recommend not getting this game.3 found this helpful

Mmm, natural riichi mahjong. The drawn girls are just for show, and the English terminology is unfamiliar, but overall it's a full-fledged simulator of this complex but interesting game! In short, for those who are in the know, I recommend it, especially if it's on sale.
