soon after i bought the game i learned that that they released a switch version with full voice acting. the devs didn't say anything about adding it to the pc version, so buyers interested in this game DO NOT GET THIS VERSION, unless you want to support devs scamming consumers into getting 2 copies of the same game for "exclusive content"

This is surely a 10/10 VN that excels at conveying a deeply emotional story, with complex characters. I was at odds with myself since there were some characters I felt like I had to hate, but I couldn't fully do that because of their backstory. That does not excuse their actions, but that does not make them monsters. Not enough people know of it and surely a whole lot more should experience the greatness of MAMIYA. If you like the story even a little bit, just get DoomsDay Dreams as well, it's an integral part of the experience. The base game works fine as a stand-alone story, but the dlc surely enhances it. It shouldn't even be called a dlc to be honest, DoomsDay is as long as the base game.

A captivating story of human connection at its core. At the time of writing this where I have completed all of the main story's contents as well as the 2 "bonus" scenarios, I can confidently say that MAMIYA is one of the best narratives I have experienced in recent years. Although there are other titles in the mystery genre, this is one of the only times I felt that it was hard to close the game because of how much I wanted to continue reading. This pivotal fact is what nudged me to write my own review of this visual novel, as I hope that at least one person that reads my thoughts thinks about reading MAMIYA as well. What sticks out to me in this visual novel is its usage of routes and how each of them serves more as an individual "episode", rather than what is expected of the genre. each of the main 4 characters receiving multiple respective routes throughout the story. The former half of this game is comprised of these routes and shows each respective character's relationship to the being known as MAMIYA, serving as an emotional anchor in these characters' oppressive daily lives. Although this is a common staple in this genre, it remains an effective way to convey the thoughts…

No amount of words could express my love for this visual novel. I adore the characters with their flaws, imperfections, designs, backstories and everything which instantly made me drawn to them. The storyline is really interesting and gets me on edge every time and has me gagged. The emotions put into this really shows and got me going through all stages (so much angst..). Even so, I was drawn to all the main characters and the story just gets even better. (I love them all, they all deserve happiness...). After getting the DLC, the plot thickens and the storyline just gets even more entertaining and left me speechless. When I finished the whole game, it left such an emotional impact on me and left me in bewilderment. The art is so so beautiful such as the melodic tunes playing in the background, it was perfect. I highly recommend this visual novel! Pure art and perfection!

Art is bland and blurry, it doent match the store page, choices have no effect, the game lacks keyboard functions and there is no voice acting, the sound effects are also poor

My favorite memory with this game is when I was bawling with snot running down my nose after playing the trans girl's route saying, "The only way this next route can be better is if it's about this guy being a victim of racism and incest" and then that's exactly what ended up happening next I'm swapping over to the Switch version cuz getting to hear Suou Keito possibly being voiced by Minx is too cool to pass up but please please please play Mamiya
