About Maquette
Explore a mind-bending recursive world where scale is fluid and constantly shifting, solving puzzles that span from towering-over-buildings to ant-sized perspectives in an impossible Escher-like landscape. Navigate the metaphorical scales of a modern love story where tiny problems transform into massive obstacles depending on where you stand.
Maquette is a first-person recursive puzzle game that takes you into a world where every building, plant, and object are simultaneously tiny and staggeringly huge. Maquette makes it possible by twisting the world into itself recursively in an MC Escher-esque fashion.

Head to the center of the world and you'll feel like a giant, towering over buildings and walls. But venture further out, and start to feel small as things get larger and larger - to the point where cracks in the ground become chasms.

It's a cute game with some nice art and cool mechanics, that I feel like still have a lot of unused potential. On the flip side there are some bugs and it's not too hard to get stuck somewhere you weren't supposed to go, but it's nothing too major.2 found this helpful
What a great game! The puzzles were like nothing I've ever seen. I liked the story and the music as well. I've recommended this game to others, and the final puzzle was a real head banger. Hope they make another one.1 found this helpful
I bought the game again after a long time so i could forget about most things. I seem to have also forgotten about the wonderful story too. The puzzles were wonderful and i managed to get stuck on a few of them. Overall: This is still one of my favourite games that exist, and not just because of the amazing recursion or size swapping. 10/101 found this helpful
I loooved the puzzles, the story, and the colorful graphics. The story made me feel all the range of emotions. It has it's own flavour, similar to Superliminal, Antichamber, Manifold Garden. Sometimes it's a little buggy and has performance issues, but nothing meaningful or game breaking.1 found this helpful

Short and sweet puzzle game with a good story and a great premise. I didn't encounter any bugs and it ran well at a stable 144hz on my machine. Puzzles overall aren't too difficult, there was only one which kept me for any meaningful amount of time, but I had a lot of "Wow that's really cool" moments just with how unique the puzzles are. However, some puzzles do require some hoofing if you don't quite nail the setup the first time. I quite enjoyed the story; The phenomenal voice acting, great needle-drops, and charming aesthetic made it easy for me to get invested, and it doesn't overstay its welcome at all. If you like love stories you won't be disappointed. Not much replayability unless you want to speedrun it for the achievements, but I'm happy with the purchase considering the high quality, if short, experience. Easy Recommend.
