Martian Potato is a Digital Homicide style Russian asset flip. It's a bunch of Unreal Marketplace assets dropped in a blender to make some kind of Mars farmer/action/combat game where you start off in an asset flipped office/base and walk around "Mars" and kill asset flipped "Martians" with an asset flipped medieval axe (I guess the Russian developer couldn't find a modern axe asset to rip off). It is kind of funny how mismatched the assets are, but then we shouldn't expect much from Russian asset flippers. There's also some comedy value in the terrible Runglish translation. Otherwise the game barely works, the tutorial is a nonsensical gibberish mess and overall the game is shovelware trash. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. I did obtain it through a massive key bundle where the cost per key was about 5 cents. It's worth it for 5 cents. Maybe even 70 cents after tax. Definitely not $4.99.
