Master of Pieces © Jigsaw Puzzle

The download is free. Most of the puzzles, however, are not. At the time of this review, this game only offers 39 puzzles for free. Much like a mobile game, it encourages you to purchase "DLC" with more puzzles if you grow tired of doing the same puzzles over and over again. I have never been and never will be a fan of that format. With so many free images out there for use in such games as this, 39 seems like an extremely low number. I think perhaps I will just go play Microsoft's free jigsaw puzzles instead, which offers many more puzzles.

Игра "Master of Pieces © Jigsaw Puzzle" - отличный выбор для любителей спокойного и расслабляющего времяпрепровождения. Здесь богатая библиотека изображений, от пейзажей и животных до абстрактных композиций, что позволяет подобрать пазл на любой вкус. Разнообразие уровней сложности также радует: можно начать с простого, чтобы втянуться, а затем переходить к более сложным, требующим внимательности и терпения. Интерфейс интуитивно понятен и удобен, собирать пазлы легко и приятно. Есть возможность отсортировать элементы по краям, цвету или форме, что существенно облегчает задачу. Подсказки тоже доступны, но пользоваться ими не обязательно, что дает возможность испытать себя. Особенно порадовала плавная анимация и качественное отображение изображений. После завершения пазла можно сохранить результат и вернуться к нему позже. Единственный небольшой минус - иногда встречаются пазлы с повторяющимися элементами, что может немного сбивать с толку, но в целом это не сильно портит впечатление от игры. Рекомендую всем, кто ищет способ расслабиться и потренировать мозг!

8/10 Jigsaw puzzle TLDR: a surprising amount of options (e.g irregular-shaped pieces) and QoL comes with a slow UI and ugly loading screens Good: + free + about a dozen of piece shapes to select from + a special "mosaic" mode where pieces have irregular shapes (arbitrary triangles, complex polygons) + nice music score + option to spread pieces without overlaps So-so: +/- UI has annoying delays. E.g. popups take a whole 1-2 seconds to appear because of a scale-up animation. Button tooltips take too long to show Bad: - the loading screen and the icon for the free pack of images have kids with broken eyes - unfixed AI slop. Overall, the game leaves a mixed impression. On one hand, it has a very polished core and tons of options. On the other hand, the minor UI parts on top of it are terribly made, and the dev overlooks an obviously ugly picture that is the first thing a new player sees in the game. This suggests to me that the whole app is either a template or a project they purchased (or stole?) from someone else. Then they slapped a bit of garbage on top - the best that they could do. The huge bundles this dev is selling look like big piles of vibe-coded AI trash, so... Still…

Over-priced DLCs comprised of AI images which is a shame as the interface is well done, but the cost per puzzle makes it one of the most expensive in the Jigsaw genre. Probably why it was apparently abandoned of a year ago.

Soothing

I love these puzzles! Having said that I would like to see more scenery, lakes and forests. It is a very easy app to use and I recommend it!
