MatchR is a Match-3 roguelike RPG that combines a battle system inspired by Puzzle Quest with the replayability of roguelikes like Slay the Spire.
Battle your way through your colleagues to the big bosses of MatchR. You can win battles using several methods:
You will begin each run with a single character trait and loot or buy new ones along the way. They will help you in various ways such as: giving you boost in powers on match-4s, whenever you use your skills, strengthening your bombs... Find the ones that suit and enhance your playstyle!
With 6 playable characters and 3 starting character traits for each, you will find the one that suits you the most, and with costumes and backgrounds to unlock, they will even look different every run!
You will be able to spend your MatchR tokens on the capsule machine to gain stickers between runs to decorate your ID Badge and apply their effects, helping you in the subsequent runs. They range from common to unique, plain to shiny, and even two stickers of the same type can apply a different value or percentage on its effect. You can also find rare misprints reducing the size of the sticker, allowing you to put even more of them on your badge! MatchR rewards finding perfect stickers, so keep on trying!
Is the game too easy now that your badge is full of stickers? Don’t worry, you can turn on new challenges which will make your run harder but also more rewarding, so try to put your skills to the test!
MATCH YOUR WAY UP

- Making matches using your specialty orb - different for each character - which will deal damage to the enemy,
- Planning your plays around your character traits to gain as much power as possible.

This match 3 game can be summed up by saying its like Tetris Attack meets Match 3. Its addicting and I love the backstories of the characters. Super fun to play and can be challenging 9/10 match 3 game!
Fun little match game, with a good amount of flexibility in how you can build each run. Stickers let you add even more customization, and the gacha nature of it isn't too onerous-you get a smooth series of upgrades to it's rates early on. The character stories? 11/10 writing, amazing, no notes.
Fun, vivid palette! Art style is a little bit too much all over the place for my taste, but I really like how funny some of the characters look, and the general bubbly feel to it all. Fun resource gathering through match 3 as well :)
This is such a cute and fun game! I have a blast playing this. It is quick and easy to learn, and able to quickly get upgrades and new characters. a fun game to relax to while watching a show or videos. I love little mindless arcade/casual games to play to wind down and chill to. I have been looking for some fun bubble pop games, as I am a fan of Touhou Spell Bubble, and it is not on Steam. I havent found a game on steam that is this style of gameplay, any better executed than this game. most do not look worth trying. This game is surprisingly relaxing and cute for a rogue like. It has kept me glued to my chair lol. It is well worth the $4.99 it is on steam. I feel that it could be worth even more than it is, and appreciate the fair price for this game that can give you many hours of entertainment. The concept of the game is each character has a bubble color that if you make a match with it, you can do damage to your enemy.
