I like the sound the meat makes when you beat it.

the style is great, but the pimary loop of one life, fighting brainless enemys, collecting stuff from their corpse, is just bad. also meta upgrades that are just better guns

I cant wait to see what comes next. This is a genuinely fantastic game. Like i LOVE the sounds of the train. It just sounds right for what it is, meaty and mechanical. The guns sound and feel really good. Buy the game if you have even the smallest amount of interest.

Early impression, but it's great! Most of the negative reviews seem overly concerned with being spoon-fed what to do from start to finish. This game really doesn't hold your hand and lets you figure out its intricacies on your own. There are monsters & character choices & locations that will absolutely wreck you. But even more than each success, each failure is a point of knowledge that helps fuel & improve the next run. If that sense of Noita-esque trial & error sounds fun to you, then you'll like this! But you need to give it a fair shake first. It's a roguelike. You're going to die! Alright, mini rant over. Some pros:

Graphics are simple, but serviceable! It's never unclear what you're fighting or picking up, which is critical once things get hectic
Gunplay feels nice. Headshots are very satisfying
Map is massive with all kinds of nooks and crannies that I'm sure will just expand in time
Fully diagetic controls on the train are fun, requiring you to pull all the levers yourself
Gameplay loop is easy to pick back up. Explore, kill, return, die, repeat. It's a satisfying cycle.
Major …

Don't really like the gameplay loop. Really don't like metaprogression. Hating the oxygen system. Too many things to manage at the same time which just isn't for me. Not my type of game.
