What's up with not being able to pick up a chair or black frying pan to hit zombies with? The game design seems clunky compared to other similar zombie themed survival games. I really wanted to like this game (mainly because of the train element), but it unfortunately this game didn't do it for me.

If you enjoy 7 Days to Die but wish there was more of a story, this is the game for you! While you similar objectives as 7 Days (namely: survive the undead onslaught) you go about it in a more unique fashion. The train being home base is a nice twist, giving you a mobile base that can be customized to whatever needs/wants you may have. While this is early access, it's just as fun if not more so than it's competition thanks to the varied abilities of the undead that help keep you on your toes. The nurses' healing ability can make dealing with bigger threats harder as well as the coach's ability to knock you off your feet and keep you on the ground long enough for even a basic zombie to turn you into their next meal. The Robodog does what the drones in other survival games do, but with a cute smile and potentially a powerful weapon. While what remains of humanity may be a mystery and why the hordes seem to be getting smarter by the day is troublesome, just make sure you watch your own back first.

This game blows save your money

Absolutely brilliant for the modest scope it has. The combination between the beautiful landscapes and train interior coziness kinda clicks ridiculously well for me. Relatively slow progress which makes it even better, AS I LOVE GRADUAL IMPROVEMENT. I absolutely hate when in the late stage of the game, I have no reason to collect stuff and I just cherry pick just the scarcest stuff and ammo. Large variety of storage furniture makes sorting and storing your stuff a breeze. With good focus you can get the key resources fast to skip some gear stages and make your life easier. Relatively easy combat until later stages where it becomes more and more tense with enemy placement and density. Ammo is deceptively scarce if you overrely on guns. Ammo crafting is chocked with brass scarcity, which is a major flaw in my opinion. Robo dog is the goodest boi ever. Put a flame thrower on it in the later stages, disable it's ability to open doors, kite enemies to a metal door that you close in front of them and just let them all burn VERY CHEAPLY IN TERMS OF AMMO. Never could I have imagined that I would enjoy so much building a train and creating the coziest possible living and working environment…
