Mech Fortress

This game totally oversells itself. So do all the surprsingly large list of positive reviews. Something doesn't tie up. Its a barebones games, but the bit it does have, IS GREAT! Really! Buts way less than it comes across as.... Look, I dont have the capacity to list everything that is missing with this "full game" so off the top of my head: -70+ unique towers? Yeah right. There are no more than a small handful of turrents, like 10 or so, but all they do is variate in colour and strength. Walla, 70+ "unique" turrets. -NONE of the turrents tell you their damage range. So when you choose something, you stuck with it, because the only way you can see distance, is actually having a tower ready to place. There are no indications when you are choosing/buying a turrent. Let me tell you that for this kind of game, you flipping well need it. There is no reason for it to be missing. BUT, this game is not the only one guilty of that. I can name at least another two that also dont. Its tardy, lazy, or an inocent oversight :D -You cant destroy, replace, or move turrents. -Once you have chosen one, you have to use it. You cant escape and choose a different one, even if you chose the wrong …

This sci-fi tower defense is a huge upgrade from the previous game—more maps, deeper strategy, and cool mech roguelite vibes. Love the resource combos and tactical pre-planning. Graphics are a bit rough, but hoping for Workshop. Perfect for casual fun.

It gets pretty fun later on and is a rather stress-relieving tower defense game. Watching wave after wave of monsters die feels great. Hopefully they can add more maps because there aren't enough to play.
