Description: It's a rare occasion to see someone make it back from inside The Cube. The most well-known case is the 'Incident 1172-a'. A video recording attached to the incident report shows the portal open at 04:56:06 and spit out a man. Rising to his knees, this frail gray-haired man, dry like a mummy, and dressed in rags, broke the silence of the night with a drawn-out cry. Later it was ascertained that this man was a photographer from the ill-fated expedition that had discovered The Cube seven years ago. The man was completely deranged. He died within 24 hours, incessantly spewing out barely coherent nonsense, and constantly repeating the following: "THERE IS ETERNITY" (see audio recording 1172-1). An autopsy performed by Dr. █████████ uncovered a peculiar pathology: all internal organs, while being in normal condition from a medical point of view, were located in places within the body not typical for a normal human. It was as if an unknown force had scrambled them within the man... \
MechCube: Escape is the next entry in the popular Mechanical Box series of puzzle games. Your character finds himself inside a mysterious structure simply named 'The Cube' for its shape. The place has many rooms. There's a control panel in the center of each room — a puzzle contraption, and if you can solve the puzzle, you will unlock passages to more rooms.Each control panel is a unique enigma consisting of various ciphers, logic puzzles, attentiveness tests, puzzles to test your ability to correlate information, and the ability to think outside of the box.
Your character moves from one room to another and discovers all the puzzles in this manner. By exploring The Cube, the character will fall into deadly traps, and you will unlock colorful comic-book-style endings. The overall goal of the game is to find all the endings (most of which are secret) and collect all the hidden artifacts — various references to modern pop culture.

[b]mechcube: escape[/b] is one of those mobile escape room games I'd love to have more of on pc, with the quality at least matching this one. the game starts with some guys finding a huge, mysterious cube somewhere in russia. one of them immediately goes inside to check it out, as you do with potentially dangerous things of unknown origin, and sure enough, he doesn't come back. as everything on earth is going south, an organization called 'the fund' starts doing research on the cube, trying to unlock its secrets. then suddenly the guy from before appears as an old man and inevitably dies. keen on finding out what happened and how the cube could be used to make things better, the fund sends in a volunteer operative, who in turn is keen on spending all the money they'll throw at him after the mission. there are [b]17 rooms[/b] in the cube with all sorts of puzzles (maze, rotating, sliding, lights out, move in L-shape, colors, math, more math, even more math) and a pretty useful [b]hint system[/b] that eventually shows you the solution as well, but sadly, not for every puzzle, so I still had to do the sliding and some other stuff I would've skipped otherwise. It's a game with puzzles to solve for unlocking doors. Also there are obvious and hidden items to find, which will unlock the last door. There are also some deadly endings to find. To find all endings and items, solving all puzzles and to get all achievements, seem the goal of this game. You need some crazy thinking or seeing things you would never care or think of. A lovely done "short" game, it has no real happy ending, instead it has 8 deadly endings, which are part of the gameplay though. The shortness of the game will be compensated by the difficulty finding and interpreting the right hints for solutions. The game was free2play while early access. Worked well on Linux, no bugs or crashes encountered or when switching between desktop and game.3 found this helpful
A good traditional puzzle game with numerous references to modern Sci-Fi & horror writers, as well as SCP project and a lot more. The puzzles themselves are tricky enough to lure you into cracking them. Most of them are randomized each start meaning you can enjoy the game more than once. Simple and nice.2 found this helpful
DON'T BUY!!! This thing is a complete RIP OFF mess, in my opinion. Some puzzles make logical sense and others are just 'off the hook' nonsense. Also have unmarked hidden spots that you have to find to 'move on'<<<Did I mention "unmarked and hidden"? I think that even a dollar would be too much. Even looking at a walkthrough made No Sense. It was if the person doing the walkthrough was one of the developers. I'd AVOID this at all cost....Even if it were free.
