Still good in 2026. (based on singleplayer easy mode)1 found this helpful
If you loved the original CoD, this is more of the same. It weighs in at about half the length as the base game, but that's still more than a lot of modern games in the genre give you.
The game is good because its not overly complicated, like some games where the formatting is like driving a ufo ship, in russian.
8/10 This game was HARD. Like, whoa was not expecting that. But, if you make it through it is a great game. Not on par of the original or the sequel, but still a solid WW2 adventure.
Really cool, enjoyed the bomber level, super sick,
The playthrough of United Offensive is absolutely unique and is without question not to be missed throughout the entire COD series. I played through this whole thing on Veteran. The US campaign levels are designed with just the right level of difficulty and left a lasting impression on me
due to having the same commanders as Martin, but from a different protagonist's perspective
. I love it so much that it definitely is my favorite campaign. The British campaign is just as unique as it is in the base game, and I’d describe that uniqueness as cooler and more composed now. The Soviet campaign is indeed exceptionally hard. However, I have no complaints about using such an intense in-game difficulty setting to reflect how heavy a toll was paid in the actual historical battle. And since the difficulty can be beaten with experience and caution, my experience was far more rewarding than frustrating. By the way, playing Call of Duty 1 with or without reading the pre-mission briefings is a total night-and-day difference to me. ❤️ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3754762631
