Game so good that I forgot I was frying nuggets and ended up setting off the fire alarm. An absolute must-play.

Megastore Simulator: Prologue takes the familiar shop-management formula and expands it into something more ambitious than simply stocking groceries and operating a cash register. The central appeal comes from beginning with a very small business and gradually transforming it into a substantial retail operation containing multiple specialized departments. Developed and published by Yolo Games Studio, the game establishes its objectives quickly and gives players considerable freedom over how their store develops. Clothing, toys, bakery goods, sports products, groceries, music items, electronics, and other merchandise contribute to the feeling that the ultimate objective is to create a genuine department store rather than a slightly larger convenience shop. Starting with only $400 makes the opening stages particularly engaging because every purchase matters. Megastore Simulator: Prologue is a supermarket management game that lets me start with a small shop and slowly turn it into a much bigger store. I begin with $400 and have to decide what department to open, what shelves and products to buy and how I want to arrange everything. I can work with groceries, clothing, toys, sports, music and a bakery, so there is more going on than simply putting products on shelves and waiting for customers. I like the basic idea because there is something satisfying about starting with almost nothing and gradually making the store feel like an actual business. The stock management is probably the part I enjoy most. I have to keep an eye on what is selling, refill shelves when things run out and unload deliveries from the warehouse. The hand truck, pallet jack and forklift give the warehouse side a little more to do instead of making everything happen through menus. The bakery also has its own process where I order dough, buy an oven and make products myself. I like these little jobs because they make me feel like I am actually running the store rather than simply watching numbers increase. There is also a decent amount of room to expand. I can buy n…
