MEOWMI: City Cat Chaos

It's too uncomfortable to play with controller at the moment...

I plan to spend a bit more time with this game, but the controls make it very difficult to play. When you approach the end of ledges where you intend to jump across you'll very often find yourself jumping down instead of across because if you don't time your jump just right you automatically go down instead of being able to trigger the jump across. Climbing is also an odd mechanic in this one. Sometimes its space to climb up and sometimes its E. The difference seems to be whether its an interactable wall or a box, but I still don't understand the need for multiple buttons that achieve the same goal. Jumping also needs to be incredibly precise, you have to be looking straight on at the object you want to climb on to in order to actually trigger the prompt, otherwise your likely going to find yourself falling off a lot of buildings and boxes you intended to climb up. Overall I think the current state of controls in this game is going to make it become more frustrating than enjoyable real fast. Happy to support the developer, and I'm hopeful issues with this game can be worked out, but at the moment I would not recommend at all at, even at only $10.

I am really stuck in which my cat is floating within the air and not moving. Pressing the, "I am stuck" button didn't solve anything.

So so so cute!!! Love the graphics! Objects kind of have that Lego feel, but the cats look AMAZING! So adorable! Just know this is early access, so do not expect purrfection. There are things like areas that have a big spikes of lag. Like cute Calico kitten near the sand castle. Even having my settings on low did not stop that choppiness. Okay now for a few suggestions: First, I would like to say that not being able to see the controls before starting the game is a big flaw! Maybe devs thought it was obvious, but there are a ton of platforming games. Not all games use the same buttons. Second, maybe adding small quick travel places might help with not having to redo the same jumping course multiple times (specially if you are going for younger players). Third, make the flower pots easier to break please. When a player has to spend 5+ minutes trying to break a flower pot that dropped from a second story area (near the tennis courts) it becomes very tedious. Lastly, this is just a person opinion. Making the first quest reward unlock photo mode was kind of lacking. I was super excited for the first reward quest! I thought I might get a cute hat or new skin, but was like “Oh.. Unl…
