About Metanoia
Metanoia is a short narrative-puzzle game about pushing and pulling shapes. Shapes interact in ways that reveal patterns, and those patterns will weave together as the puzzles become more complex. Along the way, you will learn that not all shapes are treated the same. If you are able, you will find out why, and perhaps help a shape along the way.Features:
- 24 levels designed for a 5-7 hour experience
- A hint system to allow you to enjoy the game and story without feeling stuck.
- Activate a shape - the filled in shape is activated, and can push and pull shapes attached to its sides.
- Move a shape - only shapes attached to the activated shape can be moved

Deceptively simple ruleset that turns into some real headscratchers Vibey music to really lock in with Super satisfying "Aha!" moments when you realize you're just a few moves out from the goal Would recommend!
I usually don't play puzzle games but figured I'd give it a shot since it was only $5. The puzzles start off simple but quickly escalate in difficulty. I have no idea wtf is happening story-wise, but the narrative is entertaining. It's a unique experience and runs well on mac + windows. Haven't tried it on the steam deck yet.
This is a really fun puzzle game, reminds me of baba is you, though a lot higher difficulty curve. its easy to play on the go and to pick up to play for like 5-10min if you have a short break. game has well designed visuals and smooth gameplay without compromising on the actual fun. would highly recommend anyone to try
Great puzzle game. For someone that hasn't played many sokoban type games, this really pushed my interest. Metanoia really makes you think through its complicated puzzles, and it feels really rewarding when you do end up finishing each puzzle. They do a great job teaching and introducing new mechanics through trial and error. If you do end up feeling lost, there's also a hint system too. There's a twist that happens in the puzzle that really intimidated me, but most, if not all find fun and challenging. Definitely worth the 5 dollars. Looking forward to whatever they may put out next.
Very simple geometric mechanics become very complex very quickly. It's fun to figure out the mechanics and leverage the skills/patterns in later levels.
Interesting concept. I was on a roll at the start with just the squares, but as soon as you start throwing different shapes, the same rules still apply, but the complexity and difficulty becomes 10 fold. If you like puzzle games, especially ones that become difficult fast, definitely give this a try. There's hints available, but we don't play puzzle games to use hints, we play for the one moment the solution clicks after hours of struggle. We play for the mind trap we dig ourselves into, until one simple move finally hits us, and the hours of running through the failed solution over and over is solved. Thank you for those moments of accomplishment, but also for making me question why I bought the game.
