I bought this game for €15 out of pure nostalgia, since Mia and Me was one of my favorite shows as a kid. Sadly, this turned out to be a huge disappointment. First of all, this game feels like a lazy cash grab aimed at kids. Honestly, it could have been a free mobile game and would still be bad. Gameplay issues: The game is not PC-friendly at all. The instructions are only written for controllers, and they are very unclear. If you play on keyboard, you’re left completely on your own to figure it out. The controls are broken. For example, pressing left often makes the unicorn go right. This doesn’t just make the game frustrating, it makes it borderline unplayable. Levels are randomly generated, which often leads to obstacle placements that are literally impossible to pass. Steam achievements don’t seem to work. I’ve completed the tutorial and even leveled up a unicorn, but nothing unlocked. Other problems: The cutscenes are poorly made, with random, soulless dialogue that doesn’t follow any coherent story.
