MY LITTLE PONY: A Maretime Bay Adventure

$40 for less than 2 hours to 100%... value is subjective but this is shameful. I understand this is aimed at little girls, and I'm not one of those. If I was, I'd slap my parents if they bought me this.

A cute game for anyone who played My Little Pony as a child

As someone who absolutely loves MLP, I cannot recommend this game, especially at 40 DOLLARS!!! This game is 5 dollars at best, I managed to 100% the entire game in less than 2 hours. I understand it is made for little girls and to be honest, I haven't gotten around to watch G5, but the mlp mobile game is way way way better than this and that is game is FREE (ignoring all the expensive stuff that comes with it). If you want to play any MLP game, don't play this. They're quite a few mlp games on steam like MareQuest, Slaughterhorse 2, even Mare Dare which is only a dollar are way better and cheaper than this. Shoot, if you really want to, look for mlp mods for the games you play and odds are, you might find something. The only reason you should get this game is if you plan on having it as like a collectors game or if you are a big fan of G5, but even then, 40 dollars is insane, shoot even 16 dollars which is how much I paid for seems a lot. Unless Hasbro stops seeing MLP as a stupid cash grab, pass on this one. Get literally any MLP game/mod over this. Shame on you hasbro, please do better.

Movement is sloppy, jumping feels floaty, platforming often feels imprecise and sluggish, the scripts for dialogue sound exceptionally staged, almost as if the script was AI generated, the voice acting itself feels stitched together sometimes, most characters feel interchangeable, the audio mixing is all over the place, sound design feels like an afterthought, and the settings menu offers nothing to tweak graphics-wise. Not even a resolution setting. I've never seen a game on PC without a resolution setting before. I know it sounds like I'm being unreasonably harsh on this little kids game, but I believe kids deserve games with quality too. This cheap (cheap in terms of quality) cashgrab not only leaves a lot to be desired but can also be completed 100% in less than 2 hours. The price-to-content ratio for this game is horrendous. Definitely something to buy on a -90% type sale (or lower than that). I'm glad I got a super cheap key from a probably shady website for this game. Would've felt ripped off if I paid more than like 3€ for this lol At least the character models look alright and facial animations are done well enough. Not the talking tho. My 5 year old girl loves the game. She now wants a game with ponies, fairies, mermaid, or unicorns. This game works good for her. Mechanics are ok she knows what to do and played end to end a couple of time already. Now the problem is that there are not many games like this.
