Use the powers of your flashlight to light up the shadow creatures that roam trought the forest and seek your way out!

On a quiet night like any other, a little girl had the misfortune of experiencing the visit of a shadow being - The Forgotten - and is taken to a dark forest in the realm of this creature. Now she has to find a way out before the shadows take her soul.
Navigate throught the forest with help of your new friends, fight with a magical flashlight to be your light and learn about the fate of your long lost sister and her sudden disapearance.
- Use the flashlight as your main weapon of defeating the shadow creatures.
- Shoot, dodge or counter the bullet hell-like attacks of all your enemies to survive.
- Gain Light Drops by defeating enemies to become stronger or use them to buy items, upgrades and costumes.
- Navigate through the 5 areas of the forest to find your way out.
- Defeat strong enemies to rescue the spirits of children trapped in the shadow's realm.
- Find the secret pages hidden throught the forest to learn more about events that transpired before your arrival.
- Unlock new powers and use them to clear puzzles blocking your path.

Had a ton blast of fun playing Mislight! I was really drawn by the challenge and the overall setting, music, colors and mechanics of the game. Would only suggest to keep an eye on the tiles, sometimes they are difficult to read. P.D. I HATE HATE HATE THOSE SQUIRRELS!!!1 found this helpful
I am so glad I Kickstarter Pledged to this game. The love and care is real. I enjoyed it from start to finish and never had any issues with it. I both don't care to and suck at Speedrunning so i'll never stand a chance at 100%ing the Achievements for this game though. :(
Love this indie bullet hell. but admittedly I am very rusty in these genres. It's a good game where you fight off enemies with the power of the light.. the flashlight! -shines flashlight in your eyes- now you're blind. hahahahaha. This game may take some patience tho. as some attacks may have you saying.. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! but that might just be me and my rust. Power ups will be unlockable in time as you collect a thon the hell out of the loot and use the booty for upgrades. It's very a old school retro feel. that's sidescrollers at their best for yah.
i really didnt want to refund this game and i wanted to play it through but i got stuck in the second area and couldn't find any guides or walkthroughs, only the demo version is covered, im all with amateur indie game devs but if there is going to be flying enemies i should be able to rotate my flashlight, the combat feels insanely rigid :/
