pretty cute dress up game with lots of nice clothes. but the story and overall presentation is lacking. it feels pretty shallow for what's (at full price) a 30£ game. i'd recommend it if you're more into the actual dress up than the story. but be sure to get the game on a big sale, it's definitely not worth the full price16 found this helpful
Another repetitive dress up game with light plot, and no real depth - I, however, AM the target audience for these as they are my weakness. I love them. This is really one of the only ones on Steam that I'd recommend unless you want to do gatchas. Originally for the Switch, I actually think we're super lucky to have a global Steam PC port for this, since I doubt they ever intended it to gain popularity in the West. The port is really nice, but it's definitely waaay better on the controller. The controller icons are for Xbox, and I'm using a Ps5 controller so occasionally I'll hit the wrong button, but it's suuuper easy to redo what you've messed up. The gameplay is very, very repetitive. You make an outfit following the guidelines it gives you (ex: "Make a beach outfit using horizontal stripes!"), and then you're free to create a magazine page for it including the pose, background, frame, stickers, etc. If you find that tedious, it gives you a base magazine page that you can choose to use, and still receive full credit for the outfit. There are little things you can do to increase your score on your days off from modeling, like going to the park, or library, and it'll give you a…8 found this helpful
If you're looking for a short review, this is what I'll say. This game isn't groundbreaking but it's a fun time waster, especially if you have a video in the background and you grew up with dress up games. So, I would suggest this game, yes, but with hesitation. I'll explain more down below.
Story
As you can imagine, the story isn't very patted out. It's pretty lukewarm, yet it's a cute read. It's a slice of life of a model befriending other models. The choices usually end up being boiled down to the same sentence just worded differently and you don't have any affect on how the story goes. If you follow the guidelines of the outfit, you'll reach the ending, max out all your stats, befriend everyone and buy out almost everything in the store. If you're an achievement hunter, after the story is over, there is a sandbox continuation, where you can keep earning money to buy all the remaining outfits (In my run, only one outfit store had remained unbought). All in all, if you're looking for story, this game is not for you.
Relationships and Inclusivity
If you're looking for inclusivity, be it in looks, body type, skin colour or romance with the girls,…2 found this helpful
anti aliasing would save this game genuinely2 found this helpful
Good casual dress-up game, but the story is pretty lacking and feels very bland. The only thing I really loved was the rivalry with Aika, whom I have a huge crush on. Anyway, after completing your third year, you can't increase your affection with the other characters anymore because there are no more days off. That honestly sucks when you're trying to complete all the achievements, especially Shunsuke's, since he appears so late in the game.
exactly the kind of fashion game ive been missing in the modern gaming market!! i look forward to your future releases!
