About Model Kit Shop Simulator
Model Kit Shop Simulator is a first-person store management game where every sale starts with a Model Kit.Build and grow your own hobby shop by ordering master boxes, unpacking deliveries, stocking shelves, setting prices, and serving collectors and enthusiasts. But running a successful model kit shop is not just about selling boxes. To maximize profits, you need to keep the right matching paints in stock, increase basket value through the Hobby Basket System, and give customers a place to bring their projects to life with the Build Table.
Core Systems
Hobby Basket SystemCustomers do not just buy a single kit — they start a project. When a customer picks a model kit, they may also look for the matching paints needed to complete it. If you keep those paints on your shelves, they can add them to their basket, increasing the total value of each sale. If the paints are missing, they may still buy the kit, but your basket value and profit will be lower.Build Table SystemCustomers who complete the right kit-and-paint combination can pay to use a Build Table after checkout. There, they sit down, start assembling their kit, and turn a box of parts into a finished model right inside your shop. This makes your store feel more alive and adds a distinctive hobby-shop experience beyond traditional retail management.Success depends on smart stock planning, efficient shelf management, the right product variety, and creating a store that supports both shopping and building.Features

A very enjoyable, middle-of-the-road retail sim. There's no new ground being broken here, but you probably knew that. This is a bit more chill than some of the others in that the hired help is surprisingly good (honestly, as fast as me). This is missing some "high end" features that would add complexity and strategy to the game. There is no vendor interaction, so no vendor promotions or seasonal buy-ins. This, when coupled with fee-free, instantaneous round-the-clock delivery, makes inventory management irrelevant. There is no need to purchase storage space, buy storage racks or stock-up on inventory. In the hobbyist retail sim genre--especially with in-store crafting stations--we're used to advertising, promotions, event-nights, etc., but there's nothing here to drive traffic to your store. [strike]An unscientific observation of a week's playtime shows a static 52-53 customers per day.[/strike] [Customer count scales with number of kit types sold.] This means that your income is capped (assuming you're fully stocked) and varies only by what type of kit is "popular" that day. This make progression p a i n f u l l y s l o w. The overused, generic assets in…1 found this helpful

Love seening all the models on display looks really nice the game is very early and needs a lot more work done hopefully gets better in time
Lots of fun if you like hobby shops or plastic models in general. I'm excited to see how the devs expand on it. Yeah there's a lot of these kinds of games, but the niche is here for people who love going down to their local hobby shop. Which you should totally support by the way!
Game has bones. Good quality. played for about 3 hours and no bugs. cashiers are cheap which is refreshing, but no hirable stockers. The licensing structure and other visuals remind me of Supermarket Simulator, which is a compliment. I rarely buy games the same day they release, but this one caught my eye and i look forward to seeing the devs build on it.
fun little simulator game , the models are cute . Not come across any bugs . Excited to see where the devs take this game
