About MOOD

MOOD is a gloomy, philosophically-walking visual novel beyond it's genre. The player will meet a girl and take a walk with her through the backstreets of a decaying city. Ask the right questions, listen to your interlocutor and find the truth in the dialogues. Nothing bad will happen, we promise. ⠀▓▓ ⠀▓▓▓▓▓
Did we mention that every choice affects the environment? Oops…
Every scene is inspired by real-life streets.

EVERY CHOICE IS WRONG.
The game doesn't have “right” endings or choices. A good intention can turn out to be a bad one in the future, just as a bad deed can turn out to be the safest. Make choices with your heart, show her the real you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀▓▓▓▓▓Did we mention that every choice affects the environment? Oops…

I would love to recommend this VN to anyone, I love the... "mood" it tries to create. However, you'll enjoy it only if you speak Russian. English translation is really not good. Not in the "damn, it has some grammatical errors" but in the "I can't figure out what is the MC talking about with the girl". Basically, unless you actually speak Russian, not recommended. I tried checking if there was any fan translation around the internet but no luck whatsoever. Sadly have to refund.3 found this helpful
MOOD, developed and published by MAT Affect, is an experience that deliberately distances itself from conventional game design in favor of something far more abstract and interpretive. Rather than presenting clear objectives, structured progression, or mechanical challenges, it invites players into a space where atmosphere and emotion take precedence over action. This makes it less of a traditional game and more of an interactive exploration of feeling, one that depends heavily on the player’s mindset and willingness to engage with its minimalistic design. The core of MOOD lies in its simplicity. There are no overt goals pushing the player forward, no explicit instructions outlining what must be done, and very little in the way of traditional gameplay systems. Instead, the experience revolves around movement through abstract environments that seem to shift in tone and meaning depending on how they are observed. This design choice creates a sense of openness, allowing players to interpret the world in their own way. However, it also means that the game offers little guidance, which can leave some players feeling disconnected or uncertain about their purpose within the experience. …2 found this helpful

Fun short Visual Novel with a great aesthetic. English translation is dubious at times, but I was able to follow what was being said without any issue.
It's with games like these I wish steam had something in between yes and no like a I'd sort of recommend this game. There is stuff I both like and dislike with this game to list the positives I really like the overall art style of this game the backgrounds are well designed and where can change depending on the decisions you make as well as that the character designs fit nicely into the world, I also found the sound track and audio work to be quite pleasing and thought it was quite effective at building tensions near the latter half of the game. And finally I quite enjoyed each ending (I won't discuss all endings) but
The one were you accept Revvy's offer effected me the most
That is all for positives now for the negatives the most glaring fault with the game is the translation it often has unusual phrasing/sentences but honestly I didn't see it as a major issue. Another thing to note is I didn't really like how suggestive some of the dialogue was, it wasn't anything crazy but still kinda took me out of it. as well as that I found myself rather bored at times whilst reading through this visual novel maybe that was on me for not being in the right mood for this …
damn he's just like me frfr
