Morhval: Ravenglaire

Game has pronouns and has "they/them" as an option, this is my big problem with the game. I don't enjoy seeing gender confused themes presented as normal in media. The game concept is good overall (and seems to be based off Daggerfall which I am fond of): large scale proc gen RPG with lots of dungeon crawling and factions to join or oppose. That being said the game is in the condition you would expect for a recently released EA; occasionally buggy, barebones combat, lighting problems, etc. I would be more excited for it if it weren't for the weird pronouns thing.

Honestly, I haven't put nearly enough time in to the game yet to give a proper review. I'm running it on Linux, which proton is doing a pretty bang up job of running, but I definitely notice frame drops here and there. I didn't really see any graphics options in-game to try and reduce things further, hoping performance won't be an issue down the line with my rig. That isn't really a knock on the game though, as I'm using an OS that this game wasn't built on. It has an interesting twist to its open world: Keeping your family alive with your adventuring career, sending food back to them and keeping them out of debt. Skills can prestige which lets particular weapons, spells, and items you can craft be even more powerful, which I think is a REALLY cool idea with a lot of potential, though I think it should go way past just 3 times! I'll write more when I've played the game more, and give this a proper review. It's worth checking out at least though!

Awesome Sandbox RPG with a world that you can actually interact with and change ( Something that so many games claim but never deliver on). Keep up the awesome work man! This is truly one of a kind, and I'm hopeful to see it succeed with continued development. Cool retro aesthetic as well with a lot of design potential that can only be achieved with this style.

No inversion settings for controller and steam input inversion setting breaks the y axis. If basic QOL features can't be added there's no way I can recommend this game.
