About Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword

This game is a unique blend of medieval action-RPG, strategy, and sandbox simulation. What makes this Mount & Blade standalone expansion stand out though is its multiplayer element of being able to play in a coop environment. You have a selection of factions to play, along with guns being accessible, that includes handguns and muskets.2 found this helpful
Great addition to a fun series. 7/10. I remember playing this game back in like 2013. On top of that, I always thought this game was like a DLC for Mount & Blade. The different weapons and era were enjoyable. Just seeing the art work and hearing the music brings me back.
it's interesting? Genuinely you should just get warband with it's expansions. It has just such an extensive modding scene, and the napoleonic wars dlc that you really really aren't missing out on anything by getting this. In fact this standalone expansion of warband is actually lacking a lot of what's in warband. There aren't arenas, you have to track down lords to complete quests which sometimes becomes impossible if the lord gets captured and progression surrounding questing for nobles and siding yourself is actually a lot more difficult in this one since there's no vying to be a lady's champion, no volunteering for warfronts as far as I could find in the 4 hours I played and one small scale skirmish between scouting patrols wouldn't even let my party join in because I didn't side myself already. I do actually really enjoy the firearms. They're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bows that have a much harder punch, and I love how npc's can just accidentally potshot you from across the map knocking you off your horse ending your progress legitimately. Just that aspect also demands you play with no autosaving so you don't bomb the entire early game. I wouldn't recommend it though, it's not really worth 1…
This game is a dissapointment... It is like a Modded DLC of Warband...
The time period is cool, but holy hell is this game tedious. Expect to do hours of fetch quests before you have the stats to actually play properly. I'm convinced everyone who enjoys this game just turns on cheat mode so it's actually playable.
