About MUZY

This game was developed in collaboration with a Rybis Games, who has been unreachable for several months. Out of respect of our players, and Rybis Games, we’ve decided to make MUZY free to play.
The events of MUZY take place in an abandoned industrial complex. Let me introduce "NeuroWorld," a trailblazing business that has effectively integrated artificial intelligence into toys for kids. For many children, these toys were first true friends, but when mishaps started to ruin their once joyful relationships, the beautiful story took a terrible turn.

"NeuroWorld" became a trailblazing company, becoming the first to successfully integrate artificial intelligence into a kid's toy. These creative toys were more than just playthings; they became true friends for a lot of kids. After experiencing great success, the business set up production facilities, which led to the development of the massive industrial complex known as "Maybedi."

Many industries produce cutting-edge products within the complex, which is also home to NeuroWorld offices, a special daycare for the children of staff, and a large play area. Children actively participate in this situation by contributing comments on the company's continuing advances, going above and beyond simply providing amusement.

The Maybedi complex is located in a quiet area a few miles from the closest populated area, strategically placed miles away from busy urban hubs.

You're a private investigator, and one day you get an assignment to inspect the abandoned Maybedi Industrial Complex.

You accept the offer after giving it some thought.
You begin the game by entering the play area, where employees can leave their children to enjoy themselves.
But why had the complex been closed?
What lurks behind those rooms' doors?
Why did a seemingly successful company decide to abandon this location?
These are the questions you must answer.

MUZY is a well-known character from the "NeuroWorld" toy line. This amazing invention combines a robotic foundation wrapped in a soft knit cloth with an advanced artificial intelligence system. MUZY, one of the company's most notable projects, was incredibly successful and won over kids' hearts with its endearing appearance and amazing ability to move and interact on its own.

A source of great success for the business, MUZY was essential in helping kids make friends, which was especially helpful for those who were shy. Because of its interactive features, which made it possible for meaningful connection in addition to providing entertainment, many people saw it as their best friend.

At one point in time, word spread throughout the entire crew regarding the complex's imminent closure, a development that shocked and confused them all. There are still a lot of objects and traces of the once-bustling factory inside its walls. The complex was first gated off and guarded, which gave its abandoned grounds a sense of mystery. But eventually, for no apparent reason, the guards left their positions.

Then, neighbors walking by the condominium started telling stories of a mix of eerie noises coming from its empty lot. There were also reports of strange animals seen nearby. In an attempt to solve the mystery surrounding the abandoned facility, it was decided to hire a private investigator in light of these odd circumstances.

The detective enters the abandoned Maybedi Industrial Complex brandishing a toy gun. The detective uses the toy gun with small balls loaded to maneuver through the abandoned building and solve puzzles by firing precisely.

The detective's path through the complex is distinguished by a calculated combination of puzzle-solving and exploration. The puzzles become more difficult as the detective goes along, necessitating strategic thinking to discover the truth behind the complex's closure.

The toy gun is used by the detective in the third person as a dependable ally, a lighthearted but crucial component in the investigation into Maybedi's secrets. The investigator gets closer to comprehending the reasons for the complex's abandonment and the shadows that lurk in its forgotten corners with every picture.

5. Dark Secrets: Uncover the dark and hidden secrets surrounding MUZY, delving deep into its past and discovering the malevolent force that now lurks within this once-innocent children's toy.

MUZY is a first-person psychological horror adventure that takes a familiar childhood object and transforms it into the center of an unsettling technological mystery. Developed by Andrew Rybis and published by Galactic Crows and Night of the Crow, the game combines exploration, environmental puzzles, investigation, and mascot-inspired horror within an abandoned industrial complex. Rather than depending entirely on combat, it builds its experience around discovering what happened to a once-promising company and why its intelligent children's toys became associated with disturbing events. The story sends the player into the abandoned Maybedi Industrial Complex, formerly operated by NeuroWorld. The company became successful through the development of children's toys enhanced with artificial intelligence, allowing them to communicate and interact with their owners in unusually sophisticated ways. Maybedi was more than a production facility, containing offices, manufacturing sections, recreational areas, and spaces where children could spend time with the company's creations. Years later, however, the complex stands deserted, surrounded by rumors involving unexplained sounds and strang…

MUZY is a horror adventure that I found much more interesting than the cute toy premise initially suggests. I am investigating the mystery behind a once popular children's toy connected to a series of disturbing accidents, and the contrast between something designed for children and the increasingly dark story works really well. I liked how the game slowly shifts from curiosity into genuine unease. The gameplay combines exploration, puzzles and survival horror elements. I have to search the environments for clues, interact with objects and work out how the pieces of the mystery fit together. I enjoyed the puzzle sections because they give me something meaningful to focus on while also making me look more carefully at the surroundings. The horror is built around the MUZY toy itself and the strange things happening around it. I liked that the game does not rely exclusively on constant jumpscares. There is a growing sense that something is wrong with the toy and the place surrounding it, which makes the quieter moments surprisingly effective. The more I learn, the more uncomfortable the whole situation becomes. The first person presentation works well for the atmosphere. The enviro…

The game has Promise. Theres SOMETHING here that could've been developed. There isn't much of a story AT ALL, Like, why am I there?? Why am I doing these Puzzles?? Why am I doing ANYTHING?? (Note: I didn't really read any of the paper on the floor since the text was WAY too small to even try). Maybe if the developers added a cutscene with voice lines, that'd be super cool! The game is also WAYYY too short. I finished the game in 42 Minutes (Including time in the menu, Changing settings etc). The game IS free, but its just lacking in content. The chases are also weak and don't really have any meaning. The Second chase is also very awkward, and if you don't do it PERFECTLY, then you'll die. This means you cant even geta good look of the thing chasing you, there's no fear or anything. NOW, the game did do SOME things right. There are some moments where things POP out of places like doors, but that's kind of it for fear. [Slight spoiler], Theres a bit where there's a tall monster that blocks a door you tried to open. Now you'd think that THIS monster is what is dangerous. Nope, its the much smaller one that spawns BEHIND YOU, with 0 indication its there. I died TWICE, thinking I was …

It's a fun little free game that will take you under and hour to beat. It seems that the game has been abandoned (hence why they made it free), so it won't ever have a conclusion, but what you can play through here (chapter 1) is still pretty cool. Not saying it's the most amazing thing ever and the horror elements are a bit weak, but, again, it's free, so it's worth the 1 hour it takes to play it. I didn't experience any technical issues. I would've liked if it had controller support, but it's free so I wasn't expecting much.
