I think I played this game 3-5 days straight and I really enjoy it! The story was intresting and I wish it had a continue cause I dont want that freaking cat to be with the goddess.. I also wish there was more achievement even thought there is 58 already... Got them all LOL.. Was suprised there was no fishing achievement still got all fishes. The NPC are cute and I really enjoyed being a rancher too! And taking in the homeless guys was so nice too! Cause everytime I see a homeless character in game I wish I could do anything for them cause in the end we make so much money that we can help them lol But yeah I am excited if there will be another update for the game, I will patiently wait if an update will come and continue!2 found this helpful
As a very long time enthusiast of farming sims (anyone remember SimFarm by Maxis?) I thoroughly enjoy this fun and light-hearted game. In fact as others have pointed out, it's rather a carpentry and crafting game with farming/husbandry as a side. It's also a good fixer-upper, for those who like that aspect. I'd bring especially up some details that make the game feeling fresh, like no need to "load" different equipment - after all, don't we all know what tool to use, without someone always reminding us to not go fishing with an axe? It's not as complex as some highlight games of the genre, instead has found the sweet spot by giving much to do, but not needing careful planning, convoluted spreadsheets or strategizing for a game year ahead (though I enjoy these games too). It's one of those games where you complete a round (game day) and plan to quit, but then tell yourself - well, let's play just one round more, it's not *that* late yet... Cute old-school pixel art is heartwarming, and there are many quirky, clever or just endearing details (look at those cows smiling, aww!) Long-term tasks do not have a deadline and those needing to be completed the same day are "side-jobs" just …1 found this helpful
Light weight farm/craft game. The simplifications have plusses and minuses - the daily loop starts to seem samey rather quickly but since the game isn't going to last forever that is okay. Building out a new element / variety in mid to late game would help. Still, thumbs up!1 found this helpful
I recommend this to anyone who likes old-school style simplistic charm. It reminded me of game-boy-color Harvest Moon (only far less annoying) and SNES Soulblazer (not as cool, but what is?). I took my time to enjoy the darling pixel art, had fun wandering around harvesting resources, and was delighted to repair all the holes and damaged buildings and things as Heaven's Dale's newest arrival, "the carpenter"; as opposed to the usual "the farmer" trope. The controls are a little clunky, and the dialogue and story are a little odd, but I read that the developer is going to work at improving the translation, so that should be better in the future. Overall it is a simple but fun game. Playing super-relaxed, I finished in about 25 hours. I think $8 would have been a better price for it than the $10 that I bought it for, but perhaps other people are not so miserly with their spending money.1 found this helpful
This is one of those games you just know you are going to love. I've only played for a few hours but Its really truly a comfort game with a bit of a challenge but nothing that is too hard. Its at a really good price and honestly, you can go wrong. There's farming, mining, fishing and a cute city to explore.. and maybe a witch. If your on the fence, let this review help you choose to purchase this cute game from a small team. I truly don't think you'll regret it.
This game is a lot of fun, it never gets boring, it is very repetitive getting all the materials you need to build but they are easy to find.
