👧 Meet the girls! 👩‍🦰

Azuki – The friendly girl with beautiful pink hair from the astronomy class that often starts telling scifi stories as if they were real. Is she just a bit weird or what's her deal?Marie – The young girl from the country side. A math genius that seems to be awfully shy. Maybe she will become more talkative once she knows you better?Patti – The cool physics girl. Experiments are her life, and wherever she does them she leaves a trail of fire and explosions behind. Her energy level is insane, but she would do anything for her friends.Sylvia – "Baroness Sylvia von Tensberg", to be precise. Yes, a real noble woman, and totally not interested in science. She prefers arts. Why is she at the science camp then? Well, try to solve her mystery, but watch out for her sharp tongue!

🧁 Sweet Science

Parts of the game follow the story of our other visual novel "Sweet Science". This time, however, you are a girl who ends up at the mysterious science camp in the past. (If you prefer to play as a boy, try out "Sweet Science" instead.)

I just dipped into My Silly Science Summer and it’s super cozy and cute. The time-travel setup is lighthearted, and those tiny puzzle bits break up the chatting nicely. Wholesome, nerdy, for a tea and chill session.

Ok, alllllll the way at the very bottom of the description they do own up "Parts of the game follow the story of our other visual novel "Sweet Science". This time, however, you are a girl who ends up at the mysterious science camp in the past. (If you prefer to play as a boy, try out "Sweet Science" instead.)" So this is a reskin as a female of the male version. I feel like this could be placed at the top? Maybe? To be clear, the overall game is nice and cute and fun, but I just found the fact that were two versions for some reason odd.

My Silly Science Summer in the Past is a fresh breeze in the world of visual novels. It is a clever blend of science fiction, slice-of-life warmth and mystery. What sets this visual novel apart is its unique narrative twist, where you timetravel into the past and have to solve the mystery behind it. The cast of characters is another highlight. Every character has their own charm and personality.

This game caught me off guard in a good way. It starts off simple, but before you know it, you’re wrapped up in a really charming story about curiosity, friendship, and a group of girls who each bring something totally different to the table. The pacing is relaxed, the humor lands well, and there’s a nice balance between silly moments and genuinely sweet ones. I liked how it never tries too hard to be dramatic or deep. It just lets you enjoy spending time with the characters and watching them grow closer. The art is lovely, the music fits nicely, give it a try.
