Myth Finders

After some tweaking and playing later levels, it got better. I was able to use Loseless Scaling to enhance the Sharpness and remove most of the blurry factor. That was a HUGE benefit. Also, the first aarea was very detailed. So, hopefully the game continues more like the second area which isn't cluttered as much. I will update my review to a passing score. It still needs graphics and audio adjustments in the settings, and those background extras that appear in the search list but are really just part of the background image need to be dealt with. ----- Original Review ----- This game is a hard pass. I find the lack of settings Disturbing. Language choices, Window/Fullscreen, Cursor Custom/Normal, Sound On/Off and Music On/Off. That's it. No resolution options, no Music or Sound volume sliders, just those. Several of the cardinal sins of hidden objects games are present. It asked me to find a bellflower, and a hint showed me a bell. It asked me to find a mushroom when the game had at least five mushrooms in the scene and only one was correct. The artwork for this game is lovely. Playing the game is boring. There is nothing intuitive about the user interface. I keep having to play the same scenes over and over and over..... I am unable to see a story or a progression in the game play. I feel like I am stuck in an infinite loop.

I am finding the older I get the less I enjoy hidden object games that have a story and interactive map with lots of backtracking. I am more inclined to enjoy a linear game with less options. Even so I am on the fence about this one but going with thumbs up for now. I like parts of it but really didn't like the speed aspect. n order to get coins to buy trophies to display requires finding hidden object items fast. I tried a few levels actually looking for items but then found the best way to earn stars and coins is to just click everything and then use the HINT at the end. Same with the spot-the-difference puzzles. That mostly netted me lots of 3 stars and coins. I also didn't care for the childish "paint" pix at the end of each level. Would have preferred having a SKIP option on those. The circle and jigsaw puzzles were a lot of fun but the time element to get 3 stars was awful (at least for me). I think I only got 3-stars on 1 circle and no 3-stars on any jigsaw. I also found some great wallpapers to add to my collection!
