I teach ancient world history and have been looking for more Mesopotamian themed games or elements since the release of TW Dynasties. It has a similar flow and style to the old Pharoah and Cleopatra games I played for hours growing up. That being said it really stands out easily making my top list in just a few hours. I am not sure how this one flew under my radar for this long but if you like ancient history, warfare, trade and building this is it. This is a fun, realistic, incredible city builder. It is worth every penny. I only hope it continues to develop!

This game is, horrifyingly, addictive. Once you start, good luck stopping. I played it for a quick half an hour. A week later i had put almost 60 hours into the game and had finished the final mission, plus a load of obscure achievements to boot. Pros: The music, the visual style, the funny voice lines of the characters when you click on them. Cons: The campaign can be a full on grind towards the end. Each mission feels like a repeat of the last with an extra step at the end. Get this game if you like the old school styler of city builder game. But don't be surprised when you get horribly addicted. Anyway, now i have finsihed the campaign, time to try sandbox. What could go wrong?

Real taxing game, unlike most city builders - the balance of goods vs economy is really sensitive making this game even at "easy" level hard to play, but with persistence you can outsmart it!!

Want to build what you need to complete the mission? Too bad! Badly built tutorial blocks further gameplay!

This is a solid Impressions-style builder with iterative improvements on some of the classic features like walkers.
