Full Disclosure: i know the developer, he's an amazing guy i don't talk to nearly enough, i met him through our youtube escapades on the game scum i checked out his game NEED that he made himself and even though it's not the type of game i typically go for i had a lot of fun with it, it's really satisfying to try and keep your realm going and survive through all the different perdicaments that come up4 found this helpful
This game appeared before me when Steam implemented a personalized queue of new games releasing in the near future, 2-3 games every day during 2 weeks. The feature was such a neat surprise that I decided to give the game a try! Also seems like this is the very first developers project, so it would be fair to support small indie studios. "NEED No end" has great style and immersion in the process of managing your village, developer managed to capture that feeling of being alone in the forest by yourself and you gotta survive. The weather is outstanding, engulfing dust storms, downpours, I think there were red moons? Gameplay loop is good and easy to understand once you get the hang of it. The OST is amazing, the tickling clock or pounding heart sounds when you are low on bread got me sweating bullets while I was scrambling for solutions. I have managed to complete the hardest difficulty eventually after few evening, it was a nice puzzle. Really solid game. It keeps things fresh, feels satisfying to play, and has that addictive “I’ll quit after this one” energy. It is a minimalist base building and resource management game that I've truly enjoyed. The core gameplay loop is challenging, satisfying, and keeps you thinking. On top of that, the developer is really responsive and helpful. It is a well-thought-out game that is definitely worth trying. I'll be looking forward to future updates and new projects from this developer!

Fun, challenging, and surprisingly addictive! I jumped into NEED: No End and quickly learned that this game does not hold your hand. My very first attempt lasted only 6 minutes 😂, but instead of being frustrating, it made me want to try again and improve. The game really makes you think strategically. Every decision matters, and managing your resources efficiently is the key to survival. Balancing workers, production, and survival needs while dealing with constant pressure creates a great challenge. If you enjoy strategy and management games that reward planning and smart decision-making, this is definitely worth checking out. It's easy to learn the basics, but surviving for longer requires careful thought and adaptation.
