Neko Station

I needed a new idle game after finishing my favorite one 'Fish to Dish' and stumbled upon 'Neko Station' in my library. The art style is beautiful and the cats adorable, the decorating aspect is also lovely. But that is all there is to it.. overall there is just not much to do at all? There are no goals other than generic quests to work towards, which makes it fall flat, unfortunately.

I love cats and I love idle games, so I thought this would be the perfect game for me! I really love the art style and how many different colour patterns of cats there are, as well as the different sizes (big fan of how the large cats lounge around). You can also rename the cats which is a cute little extra feature (I definitely made sure to rename a few that look like my own cats). The game is absolutely adorable and I love the little radio feature to change the music that's playing, and there are so many furniture and decoration options for customising the train carriages so that's been a lot of fun to play around with too. There are a few things though that I think would make it feel a liiittle more enjoyable for me personally. -Furniture only holds one cat regardless of the size of the seat or the size of the cat. I've noticed that even with the sofa that looks like it's a 3 seater only one cat ever sits on it at a time. I bought these because I thought they would give more seating space for cats, but they just take up more room and only fit one cat anyway, so they feel a bit pointless beyond having them for aesthetic choices when decorating. its a cute cat game! i recommend it!! although, it does have a few bugs here and there D: -the audio for the background noises (rain, birds etc) bugs out to where it suddenly mutes itself entirely and you have to restart the game to re-enable it -the achievements are 100% bugged, you get achievements for semi late game pretty early on i assume by mistake lol, but if that doesnt bother you then it doesnt matter -the ui would sometimes glitch and display different cats of all sizes in the cat index when you select a specific one which kinda confused me at first but its still a fairly new game, so all of these will probably be fixed relatively soon :D overall, i recommend it if you want a chill game in the background!! (or if you like neko atsume, i guarentee you that you'd probably like this too lolol)
