Screenside Station

There's not much to say about this game, honestly. A train shows up at a station, drops off and picks up passengers, leaves and eventually returns, doing the exact same thing as before. Alongside that, you get customisation options to personalise your character and furnish your station using your unlocked decor. However, I personally enjoyed the game. Why? Well, it didn't cost me a lot of money to purchase and I liked the cut aesthetic of the game. And for release? It's decent. The only real issue I have right now is the amount of processing that the game takes up (4GB of RAM), despite it barely doing anything. Other than that one issue, I recommend this game to anyone who has a bit of pocket money and likes a simple, cute aesthetic game that sits in the corner of your screen.

a charming game, with adorable characters and a lovely sound track. game has great potential and makes a great addition to the idle bottom of the screen style games category. I look forward to seeing where this game goes in the future.

It's a very simplistic idle game. Interaction is placing, recolouring and fixing the furniture and decor and the things you unlock as you level are random. It's not terrible by any means but there are a few things I think that would make for a better experience: - Some way to track what is and isn't unlocked, so you know what you're working towards. Currently there's no way of knowing if you have found every item or met every creature. - A way for your avatar to recognise and fix broken items without needing manual input. - A bugfix for item colours resetting when an item has been fixed. - A progression system for unlocks, or less randomisation on what decor items are received when you level up. I've got four pinwheels, three bushes, four benches and five armchairs but there's still things I know I haven't unlocked yet. - Adjusted or additional colour choices. Right now there's no good strong options for yellow. The choices are washed out or too green. I won't recommend against it. Just know that you're walking into a fairly basic, if adorable, idle game.
