Casual simple logic game. Transform to the ball and back to the cube, and also use other features pass to the exit of levels. Clear nice graphics, music not annoying, controls not always responsive, but overall it's ok.

An option to stop the music will be great! There is one and only one simple melody but after 7 levels non stop I just wanted to shot myself

NeoCube is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one has a slew of problems and some interesting, but unfortunately poorly implemented gimmicks. You control a cube that can transform into a ball. In ball mode, you roll around through the platformer level like usual, but as a cube, you have a number of abilities like weight increase and so on, intended to help solve some of the puzzle platformer levels. Interesting gimmicks are fine and well, and with overused, overdone, obsolete formats like platformers, arguably necessary. But when coupled with such a poor implementation like we see on NeoCube, it's not enough to save the game or make it a viable proposition for gamers. Despite not being in Steam Early Access (where this arguably belongs), the game is missing features and is apparently incomplete. Due to the lack of meaningful progress from the developer, it's unlikely the game will be completed at all, yet the developers reprehensively have their hand out for money for an incomplete game. This is a good reason for gamers to avoid this. From a technical perspective, …

Buggy, broken, and abandoned. Played through it several times just to get the last levels to unlock, which they do arbitrarily as even after following other peoples instructions they remained locked, then I revisted a few levels pretty much at random and it unlocked them despite none of the questions in the game being changed or hologram beings fates being altered. Ive still never finished the last level as it appears to be bugged out and consequently impossible, which I honestly wonder is on purpose as the game appears to be unfinished. This shouldnt be on steam or any service at all.

NeoCube developed by Vyacheslav Ozolnieks and Georgy Studenikin and published by Madgobbler is a compact puzzle experience built around a single central mechanic: manipulating and navigating a cube through a series of self-contained test chambers. Framed within a minimalist sci-fi setting, the game places players inside abstract environments that resemble experimental facilities, where logic and spatial awareness are the primary tools for progression. The structure of the game is straightforward. It presents a sequence of discrete levels, each functioning as an independent puzzle room. The objective in every chamber is clear, but the method of achieving it often requires experimentation and careful observation. The cube itself behaves according to specific physical rules, and understanding these behaviors becomes the key to solving increasingly complex challenges. Early levels serve as tutorials, gradually introducing mechanics without overwhelming the player, while later chambers demand more deliberate planning and precise execution. Mechanically, the game keeps its systems simple and focused. Controls are intuitive, minimizing barriers to entry and allowing players to concentra…
