Players praise this anomaly-hunting game for its cozy yet eerie atmosphere set during Chinese New Year in a small apartment, with a progression system that reveals remaining anomalies after the first ending to help guide players. However, complaints center on poor translation (especially untranslated Chinese text), low lighting that makes anomalies harder to spot with broken light switches, and a lack of brightness adjustment options, though the affordable price and manageable difficulty offset some frustration.
The game's mechanics are difficult to understand due to poor translation. In short, this is an anomaly game in which you search for changes. It takes place in a small apartment on New Year’s Eve. If you see anything unusual, you should return to sleep; but, if everything appears to be normal, you need to leave the apartment. As always, anomalies range from obvious to barely visible. There are not many of them because the game is quite inexpensive, so you can beat it after a few attempts. Although most can be identified immediately, the darkness makes things more difficult. There are light switches, but none of them work. After you break out of the loop once, the game let’s you see all of the remaining anomalies by always showing one in each loop. This is a useful feature that allows you to see how hard the anomalies are; even when you know there is one, the room still appears normal.6 found this helpful
Good anomaly game despite mixed reviews. When you reach day 7, the first ending occurs, after which the game tells you how many anomalies you have left. When you discover all the anomalies, the other ending follows. The ending "The Truth" which is also an achievement is a little more specific to obtain. There is no option to adjust the light, which I can put as a minus, also in places the Chinese language is not translated. but overall the rating at least for me is 6.5/10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKnT2teoPfA (The video includes all anomalies and endings. Use the video only if you are in difficulty or just curious. :) )
This is a game that allows you to experience the atmosphere of the Chinese New Year, combining a gameplay of finding anomalies. I'm not sure if it's just an illusion, but the cozy scenes are interspersed with a touch of eeriness. Look what I've found, Brian. Why is it related to a beverage?
