I first reviewed this game back in 2020 and unfortunately controller support was broken. At first when I started playing my Xbox One controller was working with no issues then all of a sudden it just wasn't working right. I was able to move around normally with the left analog stick as well as roll when I hit the trigger button, but I was unable to scroll menus and my character is continuously attacking left by itself. Here we are in 2022 and I wanted to see if things were fixed since I noticed the game was on sale. I tried using different Xbox controllers since I got one after my initial review and unfortunately nothing has changed and controller support is still broken. I can still move around with my left analog stick, but it's continuing to shoot by itself one direction constantly, although this time it's right instead of left. lol If I come back in 2 more years I wonder if it will be aiming up or down? I do want to mention you can play with keyboard and mouse, but it just feels extremely awkward with how attacking works in this game. Till controller support is fixed and/or the way attacking works I would definitely not purchase this even in a deep sale.

Fun but quite challenging

This is a very lazy low effort 2D retro pixel top down shooter, vaguely ripping off Binding of Isaac only much worse. Retro pixel graphics, fixed controls, fixed resolution. The dev was so lazy you can't even change directions properly. In the same way that the developer was unable to include modern graphics, despite a 2018 release, (crappy ugly retro pixel graphics are used as a substitute for talent), the developer was unable to add content to the game and uses procgen as a substitute for story/content. The crazy $14.00 price tag for this is simply unacceptable. You can buy games like Deus Ex: Human Revolution for less. Did this guy think his game was somehow comparable to that?

If you looking for Isaac alternative don't look for it in this game.

It is a great game, pretty challenging but still lots of fun. Not many resources at the moment on what specific items do and I am not sure if the game is well supported at the moment by the developers. There is some missing translations. Unfortunately as much as I enjoyed the game I don't know if I can recommend the game there are probably some other games that have more developer and community around them
