✦ AI summary

Players praise the game's witty humor, charming black-and-white art style, and great voice acting, with many enjoying its comedic adventure game feel reminiscent of classic point-and-click titles. However, common complaints include the game being too easy with minimal challenging puzzles or detective work, technical issues like clunky 3D movement and pathfinding problems, and the experience being quite short (beatable in under 3 hours), leaving some fans of the series feeling it's the weakest entry so far.

Holy f nut! Another Nick Bounty game! Granted I couldn't freaking play this game on my older PC, as it was burning up, but now things have changed and I CAN FINISH IT!!! And I did. This game is MUCH EASIER than the Case of Crabs. LIKE WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY easier. You even have a button to "show all examination points". The humor is still very much present however. It's freaking delightful. I also chose Walter as my partner... And that upped the antics. And damn! Walter is one hell of a badass! Haha! And at the end? Where you pick the suspect? I wanted to be funny and chose an unlikely one.... And after presenting evidence.......... I turned out to be right................ I can't believe this lol!!! There are slight issues with the game though. I played with a controller and at times, got stuck a whole bunch of times on random things. Also, when you click to "examine" something? Sometimes it takes you all across the room and then back, and it keeps repeating... Mostly the tables at that "CAFE" lounge though....... But otherwise? It's great! I love these and have just one more game to go! :D

I have been a fan of the Nick Bounty series since its days as a flash browser game -- and I was delighted to find not only the original games here on Steam, but this wonderful new addition as well! But if I'm being honest, while I did enjoy the game and still recommend it, this was probably my least favourite one so far. Positives: - Great voice acting - Wonderfully witty writing and humour - Black-and-white artstyle remains a charming stylistic choice Things that I wish were better: - The 3D movement (Nick often gets stuck trying to interact with something if not approached from a specific angle) - Perhaps the biggest reason I preferred the previous games -- the plot. Like some other comments have pointed out, there are very few meaningful puzzles and barely any real detective work to be done. You do not get the satisfaction of piecing together a story and theory-crafting what might have happened - the solution is given to you, and doesn't make much sense apart from "haha because lol". I feel that this game was a wonderful gift to long-time fans, and stays true to its style of humour and delivery; but the plot and gameplay really weren't quite the priority here and it shows. …

ok so ill start off with the bad the walking animation is a bit glitchy, but the good is this is a gem i found just looking for games to play and i do enjoy a good point and click. I was happy to find out this was from one of the creators of tales of monkey island, and monkey island is a treasured series of my childhood. I will say this game is really easy and a great game with a very funny story. However it is a very short and easy game to play through i beat it in less than 3 hours as the puzzles were not challenging but that is not always a bad thing.

It's short, silly, not very difficult. Strong "Sam and Max" energy, which makes sense since its creators are formerly from Telltale. Great fun!

The visuals are okay, but otherwise this is not a good game, unfortunately. There are quite a few references to Film Noir movies (namely The Big Sleep), and some of them had me chuckle a little, but most of the time the attempts at Naked Gun humor just don't land. The 2.5D interface feels more clunky than in the first game and pathfinding basically doesn't exist (if you click on a hotspot Nick tries to walk there in a straight line and can't find his way around any obstacle in the way, so you have to manually walk him around it). Lastly, analyzing clues could've used more (and better) minigames. Shame, since I really liked the first game of the series. Rating: ★★☆☆☆
