A Case of the Crabs: Rehash feels like one of those bizarre little indie experiments that fully commits to being weird, awkward, and strangely charming at the same time. The game throws you into a surreal detective-style adventure involving crabs, nonsense humor, strange dialogue, and intentionally absurd situations that constantly feel like they were designed during a sleep-deprived fever dream. The gameplay itself is fairly simple, mostly revolving around exploration, conversations, solving light puzzles, and interacting with the strange world around you. The real appeal is the humor and overall atmosphere rather than deep mechanics. A lot of the enjoyment comes from seeing what ridiculous thing the game is going to throw at you next. The writing is very internet-humor-heavy, which means it either completely works for you or absolutely doesn’t. If you enjoy random absurd comedy and weird indie energy, there’s a good chance you’ll find parts of the game genuinely funny. If not, the whole experience can feel pointless pretty quickly. A fun <1hr mystery romp. It was a funny entertaining story from 1 of lead devs of telltale games back in the day. If you enjoy point and click games that are fun, quick, entertaining and don't take themselves too seriously this is definitely worth the playthrough. Even more worthwhile fun if you get it on sale. 10/10 will play more games in this series.

This game has elements of Discworld Noir, it isn't in quite the same league but being similar in style and humour to one of the great but often overlooked classics is not a bad place to be. It's very film noir in style with a silly 1930's style detective theme, so it's a fun and short point and click affair with silly humour thrown in. It's shortness is it's biggest weakness, but at it's low price this is a game that is certainly worth playing. Not perfect but certainly a game you will enjoy if you like point and click games.

Game was extremely wonky, but i love the humor, and I'm a fan of noir!

It was actually a pretty fun game. Shorter than I thought it'd be but then again, I've never played the original. Wish it was kinda longer but overall it was a pretty solid game. Good graphics, interesting story, I enjoyed the humour and the logic was pretty... well, logical.

Classic! Love this game! Sad, I'm just now finding out this happened. Happy to see there is a 3rd game too. Curious how he recovered. Neat to see with 3D graphics. Was hoping right click or click and hold would be look, some funny dialogue to be had in the original. If there is a look, I couldn't find it. Intro of Arthur arriving in the boat seems to be missing, but not needed. Glad to see this get a rework for modern audiences to enjoy.
