About this game
Welcome to Night Island. This is a Roguelite overhead action game that uses randomly picked weapons, abilities, and props to fight evil and powerful enemies in the generated levels.
On this isolated island, where the night is shrouded, zombies are everywhere and danger is everywhere. You wake up in your dreams, but don't remember anything. Your brain is like a defective picture tube. The past picture is short, broken and noisy. Fortunately, the survivors on the island are familiar with you. They trust you and hope that you can lead them to find a way to survive. But they are not so enthusiastic about helping you to restore your memory. And when you die and rise again and again, they turn a blind eye and become accustomed to it...
You need to explore again and again in the cycle of life and death, uncover the secrets of the night, discover the voices hidden behind the words of the survivors, and your most important thing - identity.

Recommend? YES Night Island is your typical top down rogue-like dungeon crawler and if your like me you can never have enough. Go room to room kicking baddies asses with knifes, hammers, axes in one hand and hand guns, shotguns, ak's in the other. Of course there is a final room with a boss and I was actually quite surprised by the bosses in this game. They are pretty tough and you will need to learn their patterns once or twice before you can get past them. It all plays pretty smooth and once your back at base you can upgrade your stats and unlock skills. Kick ass. Upgrade. Repeat. All is not perfect in this game, the English subtitles are terrible and not all text are translated. There is enough their to know what is going on and make heads of things but it needs some work and there definitely needs to be a way to skip texts, they scroll so damn slow! But luckily there is not a lot of talking so you wont be waiting too long. (intro takes a bit so just get past it before you start judging the game) If your into hack n' slash top down rogue-likes and have some spare dollars it is worth the dive. i left one review before and i don't feel i served this game justice! i left a negitive review because the game didn't work for me but its not bad top down resident evil shooter type game what this game needs is better english support, a exit button controller support, a save menu, option menu please fix this game2 found this helpful
