About The Exit of Nightmare

You wake up in a strange building and you're not supposed to be here. There were no doors and windows in the building, and only one elevator leading to an unknown floor. Each of floor offers a unique environment and puzzle to discover.

Floor 0: Lobby without exit, it seems that you should find an exit to escape from here.
Floor 1: Unsettling valley, a peaceful looking valley has some strange houses that don't look like they will attack you.
Floor 2: Chinese Horror Apartment, anomalies to the left, no anomalies to the right. The exit from the loop is on level 8.
Floor 3: Late night street, the disturbing sounds and the feeling of being watched at all times will keep you on your toes.
Floor 4: Liminal space, It gives you a marvelous liminal space experience.
Floor 5: Backroom, be careful not to be seen by the monster.
Floor 6: Spaces twist pool, you're trapped in a spaces twist pool. Observe the environment carefully to escape from loop.
Floor 7: Hotel of Doom, uncover the secrets of this insidious place and find your way to next floor.
Floor 8: Labyrinthine hallyway, dim lighting, strange objects in passages, sudden scares, it recreating the horrific scares of a nightmare experience.
Floor 9: No Man's Town, you've woken up, but where are all the people in the city?

There are three endings in the game, I hope you enjoy playing it.
Information / Review English
The Exit of Nightmare falls into the psychological horror genre, developed by ZHANG FAN.
Gameplay / Story
We open our eyes and suddenly find ourselves in a completely unfamiliar building and environment we've never seen before. We don't know how we got there, nor can we remember who brought us there. We quickly notice that this building has no windows or doors; it seems sealed off. Instead, the game offers many dark corridors and rooms and a functioning elevator, which, however, doesn't grant us freedom; instead, it transports us to other floors full of puzzles and dangers that we must overcome to reach the next elevator. Each floor offers unique environments, which I won't go into in detail to ensure your enjoyment.
Pros
+ Dark scenario + Gloomy atmosphere + Items to collect + Appropriate background music + Achievements
Cons
- Short playtime - Only a few languages available
Conclusion
The Exit of Nightmare offers you a short horror escape for a dark evening. I would buy the game on sale.
First of all, many tha…

Exit of boredom… --- There's no cohesive theme from one level to the next besides "you're in a dream" as you move from collecting dolls in a sea of grass while nothing scary happens, to randomly walking down a corridor in the most lackluster "spot the anomaly" for one corridor and then move on to the third level where it finally starts to feel like a game. You're again collecting dolls but now have to occasionally hide from "something" that can kill you. I started to think it was climbing in value from $0 to $1 when the game simply stopped bothering to work correctly. After completing the third set of goals nothing progressed. The level was simply locked. Then while poking and prodding trying to see if there was anything obvious I could have missed, I found myself getting stuck on terrain. Too much of the game is trial and error; and too many times I found myself asking if something was a test to progress to the next part of the game or just another glitch stopping progress. When you can't tell the difference between glitches and gameplay, there's a problem. --- Bottom line: Barebones "horror" game that is more like a bunch of unity assets just cobbled together into minimal lev…

🧠💀 “Welcome to The Exit of Nightmare, where sleep is overrated, puzzles mess with your head, and the only way out is through pure psychological torment. Trapped in a nightmare world, you're solving puzzles while hoping nothing's lurking behind you… but let’s be real, something definitely is. Every step feels like your brain’s playing tricks on you—and it probably is. 😱 ⭐ 5/5 — Highly recommend if you love creepy vibes, puzzles, and questioning if you're still awake or already trapped in the game. 🔥 👉 Check it out here: https://youtu.be/ZvsoKQkwOfQ

Update April 2026: So the developer has gotten a hold of me and gave me some hints and some help and I made it through. I didn’t get The hidden levels but upon replaying it I got the first hidden level (ending 3). It was much smoother to play it was scarier than all ♥♥♥♥… kudos to the dev. The thing that I didn’t enjoy was that I had to start all over from the beginning because I got a new computer. Having a cloud save would be fantastic I am going to start over from the beginning and try to complete all the levels, even the hidden levels. As at this point, I would say yes, I would recommend this game Super messed up, has me actually shaking, has me bouncing between anxious and excited and sometimes makes me feel as if I’m losing my mind. I LUV IT… I’m not done. I’m only halfway through, but I can’t wait for the next part. I received this game from keymailer Update 2025: So I am stuck on level six and with all the investigation I’ve done my level six is different from every other level six that others have. I have a spider they have an anomaly room. I could not find any video that continued after level six. I have tried to get a hold of the developer and so far nothing. Seven v…

Alright, I am not a fan of checking material sthat developers use in their games but it felt like some sort of mix of different and poorly made assets. In fact, I enjoyed visuals of the first level but that's it. Horror segemnt was kind of eerie at first but lost all the atmosphere in about a minute. No way.
