Nightwolf: Survive the Megadome

[h1] Vehicular battling game with random generated arenas. There're no races here, only battles. Blast your enemies into air using your badass guns like machinegun, lasers, flamethrower and railguns. Activate environmental traps by shooting at panels. Make your way to victory in this cyber future dystopia. Goal is to complete 5 battles in a row. Game retain some 90s aesthetic including music that might feel a bit nostalgic for some. Controls are ok, nothing to complain here except maybe more need for acceleration for obvious reasons. Upgrade car for extra damage and durability, buy new weapons and such. A few different faction each with its own vehicles. Overall plays good enough to recommend. [/h1]

Your car and turret have an extremely limited turning radius, so most of the time even as you're being hit from behind or the sides you're powerless to fight back. If you try and turn to attack them you'll normally be long dead before you can even see them, so instead you have to run, find a spot without enemies long enough to make a turn, then re-enter the battle. A more realistic strategy is to back yourself into a wall so they can't come from behind you and hope they end up within your minuscule firing range before their weapons destroy you. It's also worth pointing out that this is not a free for all or demolition derby style game, it's a wave based vehicular survival game. All the other vehicles are focused on destroying you, so as soon as they spawn every one of them heads directly towards you and will all attack from different directions simultaneously. For free I can't complain too much, but it's just not worth playing.

Тем не менее, преодолев первоначальный порог, получаешь огромное удовольствие от ощущения прогресса и открытия новых возможностей. Рекомендую всем любителям рогаликов и пиксельной графики!

It's not that good car handling is so bad your fighting the controls more than your opponents. You are limited in how far your turret can move the AI does not have this problem so they can hit you in whatever position they want. No way to heal yourself in a match at least not one that I saw the only pickups were weapons and shield recharges. You can heal between matches but the cost to do so is so high you won't be able to do so after your first match so have fun trying to last 3 rounds with 7 HP.
