Simply magic game. A wonderful combination of many different genres and creative inspirations brought together into a very heartfelt, liminal, and melancholic project in its own unique way. The game reminds me of so many things at once, like Fatum Betula, Pony Island, a little bit of Ironbark Lookout, and even the ARG project INTERLOPER, while still remaining its own carefully crafted and well structured story. Overall, the game creates an excellent feeling of a playable analog horror experience. The entire atmosphere, from the music to the slow exploration of files and the whole desktop sandbox aspect, creates an amazing, liminal, and meditative atmosphere. At first I thought this game was simply another project from the new wave of VHS horror games, similar to what the Torture Star collective creates. But No Players Online is actually a somewhat different experience, without any chases from maniacs. Still eerie, but evoking more of dread than pure horror. Overall, this is a very interesting and engaging project. If you enjoy story driven horror games as well as more relaxed and melancholic experiences, I highly recommend it.

Wasted potential. I just wanted to have more funny games to combine, and the concept of the online game being expanded. As Alex YIIK would say, "I don't give a sh*t about you, and your stupid dumb dead dumb f*ck c*nt wife."

Good idea, but sometimes it did not have enough guidence and other times the games where just to difficult to where they are almost impossible and i could not get past them.

I wanted this to be an analog horror game, but ended up with a walking simulator instead. It's just like What Remains of Edith Finch, but instead of exploring a mysterious house, you're just poking around inside of a spooky computer.
