No Way Up

Finally finished part one and am excited to play part two when it is released. I am enjoying the story, it seems like there is something ominous at the heart of all this and I was gripped by the cliffhanger. The dynamics work pretty well and I love the character's little dance on completing a level, it brings me joy! I like that the enemies so far have been more about out-witting them rather than having to button mash to attack, which has been refreshing. There is clearly a lot of care and attention that has gone into making this game. I would recommend adding it to your library and giving it a try. Few things I thought could be improved or suggestions for part two: - The main thing that I found odd was the level difficulty from one to the next. In some ways it is quite nice that after a harder level you get a little respite with an easier one, but it does feel like you aren't progressing through the game when you aren't getting to use more of the things you've learnt through earlier levels. So, I'm not saying don't have easier levels popped in (especially ones more about story as they are fun), but it would be good to have more of the tasks and difficulties in the levels as you p…

Honest review here. I've been playing this game on and off since it was just a few levels and I have enjoyed it every step of the way. The developer listens to testers and adds little bits here and there, but also throws in some little surprises as well, It is a simple little game that can easily keep you hooked in for hours. I have played this game mainly on Android, but I thought I would come and test the full release and celebrate a job well done. I really look forward to features we could see in the future, possible customisation as another reviewer pointed out, and possibly a boss level here or there? Whatever comes next, I'm sure it will be a fine addition. I really have to switch this off now or I will never get any work done! Seriously though, great game, very addictive and worth buying.

I found this game strangely addictive - I like the simplicity of the game along with the gradually increasing challenges of each level. I had to force myself to stop so I don't lose hours of my day to this! lol It would be cool if you could customise a little - like enter your own name (or any name) when asked for who you are, the colour of the man you play as etc. Would be fun!

I'm not normally a fan of this type of game, but I thought I'd fire it up to have a quick look. 3 hours later I finally managed to tear myself away. Very easy to play with progressive difficulty and extremely atmospheric beats. The random guitar tunes are also very cool. Unfortunately it is also Infuriatingly addictive! Love it.

I'm really enjoying No Way Up. It's a charming, different puzzle game that can be played in bite-sized chunks. I like the aesthetics, and the game play shifts in surprising ways... I don't want to spoil too much, but I found it interesting (and pleasantly surprising) that this isometric puzzle could at times honestly feel like a horror game. You'll know exactly what I'm talking about when you reach that point. My wife and I have a pretty good gaming laptop but No Way Up isn't particularly demanding on hardware, so it should look and run quite well on most computers. If you're into puzzle games and brain teasing, I'd like to recommend No Way Up to you.

My friend gave this to me because it was the first game he saw below a dollar. Unfortunately this game is terrible. It likes to introduce new mechanics and forget about old ones. Usually one mechanic per level. The game controls like a tank and hitting a wall is infuriating with the little "bonk" it gives and wastes time. The one level that had 3 mechanics at once was miserable and I failed it so many times because the tank controls kept forcing me into the ghost that follows you around. The 4 levers level is miserable. If you want my opinion this game could be fun if it effectively meshed all of the mechanics, the movement was less like a tank, and had puzzles that were less tedious and more fun. I finished the game as a joke because it was so miserable. 2/10 if fixed could be a 6/10
