What Steam players say

Players praise the game's stunning art style, gorgeous cutscenes, and charming character designs, along with its unique blend of turn-based combat, visual novel storytelling, and dating sim mechanics. However, many criticize the narrative for forcing polyamorous relationships on the player, featuring an overbearing side character (Will) who overshadows the protagonist, and having pacing issues and confusing dialogue that detract from the story experience.
Recommended... but this game has some issues to be aware of. I really love this game. The diverse characters and magical girl concept stole my heart. The cut scenes are gorgeous! The turn-based combat was such a fun spin on the visual novel dating sim concept. As a lover of both turn-based/action RPGs, visual novels, and dating sims I found the combo unique and enjoyable. I loved the mystery of Luce's secret friend and the story as a whole, I loved the interactions between all the characters and building my relationships with them and discovering which responses worked best with each one. Most of the hours I've played has been trying to find all the possible endings and special episodes for each character. I really wanted to see where each path took me. What effect would rivalry have on my interactions with characters? Where would max friendship or love take me? For a more casual playstyle, I found this game to be super enjoyable, and while the combat could be challenging, you got xp towards your abilities to help make them stronger when you failed which helped a bit for additional attempts. The devs also added an "Instant Win" button for those who prefer no combat, w…17 found this helpful
Quite boring. I did not care to finish as felt like a loss of time. I also feel like Will is supposed to be the main character (or did the dev selfisert?). She is EVERYWHERE. She dated EVERYBODY. She is constantly on your screen. The MC is just kinda in the background. Also, I find it a bit of a turn off that she constantly reminds the MC that she dated (or currently dates) people that MC might be interested in - CJ, the cool guy? Will is dating him. Sacha, the curt high school sweetheart who seems to be head over heels for the MC? Will dated him. Basile, the sexy bartender? Will dated him. I think the art is great but the story and the characters suck quite a lot7 found this helpful
I wouldn't recommend this, but also - its really not THAT bad. If there was a sale and someone wanted to try it out for themselves, I think it'd be at least worth trying. However, I had too many issues with the game to recommend it fully. For positives, I'll say the art is FANTASTIC. I'm not a huge fan of the 3D models, but the transformation scenes are INCREDIBLE. The art is certainly the best part of the game. Using the cosmos/signs-look on the "app" on your phone to show the relationship status with others was clever. The texting between main scenes help fill in some of the interaction where it may be difficult to animate a full scene. I do like most of the characters as well, some more than others, but that's typically how these games go. As far as the character interactions and the gameplay, it leaves something to be desired. The gameplay at its base idea is fun, but in practice, it feels like there are very specific combos that you need to do each time. It makes it a little redundant. While it typically doesn't bother me when games kind of lean toward romance dialogue in a romance game, I will admit it really HEAVILY pushes you. It was obvious to me when there wa…2 found this helpful
The art alone makes this game pretty great and I've had fun playing. I enjoy that you can skip the fights any time you just feel like focusing on the story which yeah it's nothing deep but it's cute and fun and sometimes that is all I want in a game :)
Slow boring combat, boring non-sensical story. Tried my best to give it a chance but fell asleep playing it twice. Just don't
I genuinely really enjoy this game, but I'll admit it appears to have chosen style over story a bit. I occasionally get confused by the dialogue and the pacing is kind of strange...but the characters are all interesting and I like the art a lot, especially the cgs. Overall I'd say to go in with an open mind! if you can get past the faults it's a fun time, in my opinion!
